First & Last Solo Hyrox Shenanigans: ✔️

GOD BLESS my beautiful village people who were sprinkled throughout CFEN at every station, because they kept me laughing, hyped, and forgetting death was knocking. Went into the SIM with a broke butt and low expectations, left pleasantly surprised and dare I say a smidge proud?

The sweetest (yummiest) birthday pasta party was also critical to surviving Saturday and filling my cup. 10/10 night.

Words are hard.
Feelings are big.
Quads still sore.

In Mark 2, a paralyzed man couldn’t get to Jesus on his own, so his friends carried him. When the crowd blocked the door, they climbed onto the roof, tore it open, and lowered him down right in front of Jesus. Scripture says Jesus saw their faith. That’s what my friends did for me. Where I felt discouraged that I couldn’t run, they carried me with unwavering belief that we serve a God who heals

October 2025: I fainted after watching my friends run a 15K Tough Mudder. My body couldn’t handle even standing in a field for that long without being completely exhausted. I was frustrated with my lack of endurance ability.

My friends were adamant that I’d be running alongside them at the next one. I was not as confident. But the community you surround yourself with matters

Flash forward to October 2026, and this weekend wrapped up my fifth race weekend in a row:

Fit and Faith
10K Fundraising Run
Spartan
Hyrox Sim

And yes, God has healed my physical heart. Thank you to every prayerful person who came alongside me through that season. But even more, He has healed my spiritual heart.

Every mile is an act of worship, because only God, in His mercy, could do this in a single year
