POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little small business appreciation post.

Every follow, like, comment and share makes a difference.
Behind this little studio shop is a love of finding beautiful, useful and thoughtfully made things
for home and garden. Each piece is chosen with care, with an appreciation for good
craftsmanship, timeless design and the little things that make everyday living special.

Running an independent business means that the little things are never really that little.
Every kind word, recommendation and interaction helps more than you might imagine.
So, whether you've been here from the very beginning or have only just discovered the
studio, thank you for being here and for supporting what I do.
It truly means a lot

I was a little worried…after showing you these bows in my stories I thought I might sell out before I could show them off in a display!
They are very much like Baby in Dirty Dancing - you won’t be hiding these in a corner, nor do they need to just be on display at Christmas!
Talking of which, I have added a little hint of the C word in this display. Well, the hand painted baubles were far too nice to be tucked away…
You’ll find them all on my website!

Autumn can be a surprisingly busy time in the garden. From deadheading dahlias and
tidying up the garden, to checking in on your cuttings, refreshing tired containers and
bringing tender plants (such as geraniums/pelargoniums) in to somewhere cosy, there are
plenty of little jobs to keep those green fingers busy.
And as the season progresses, it will soon be time to start planting spring bulbs.
After all, gardens are always a work in progress. So grab your gardening gloves and get
stuck in !
We have a lovely selection of gardening sundries available online and in the studio, to help
with all those little jobs along the way.
Studio is open this weekend. Hope you can pop along and say hello. Our online shop is also
open too.

Layered cushions transform a plain sofa. Mix linens, velvets and embroideries to create a modern country feel. Tassel trim, fan edge and a gathered frill add to the detail 💚

I posted this image as a story a couple of days ago and realised it featured many my best selling products, most of which I’ve stocked right from the beginning. I probably post too many pictures of vintage stock (always photogenic!) when I should share more of the new.
@musango_ideas Forever popular and in the shop from day one.
@morganwright.ltd Those butter knives fly!
@melintregwynt Beautiful cushions and throws that sell themselves
@dorandtan The most tactile beakers around
@tweedmilltextiles Throws made down the road in North Wales
@ehmceramics_ Candlesticks and soap dishes hand thrown in Liverpool
@jlucaspottery Hand thrown bud vases and little dishes
And then there’s the baskets - a firm favourite all year round for the last two years!

We’ve got a new window ready for the weekend and we’ve even had a move around in our ladies and home department.

➡️ Imagine beachy essentials, floaty skirts and dresses, and a room filled with vibrant colour and beautiful accessories (including handbags, summer scarves, hats and sunglasses). This vibe is what inspired our ladies department.

➡️ Taking centre stage in our homeware collection, a table is set to inspire hosting and garden parties, from ceramics and drink/barware, to serving platters, olive dishes, and enamel trays. These are the accessories you’ll need to impress your guests this heatwave.

If you’re in town do pop in a take a look.
