The Treasure Palace got a makeover from @paintedladysignco and if you think it looks pretty in this vid then you HAVE to come see the sunbeams in person! ✨ Meg was even able to incorporate @morgzilla28 ‘s original illos that have decorated our windows since way way back, so the haus is def feeling like home while also looking like the holy sanctuary of feminist witchcraft that we always knew she was! In the words of our fairy witchmother @kellycutrone “Protect this temple, bitch.” We’re here 10-6 Thursday-Tuesday and 12-6 on Wednesdays

Happy winter solstice witches!
❄️🔥🌌
My inspiration for the Sagittarius season chapter of Intention Obsession, “Bright Lights and Dark Nights” came from some things I learned from my friend @sister_spinster in her incredible “Tending the Hearth” workshops that I attended a few winters back. It taught me to recognize how the cold days and long nights have fostered community amongst our ancestors for thousands of years. People gathered by the fire in their homes and villages and told stories, performed ceremonies, worshipped their haus-spirits, and partied with each other to get through winter. And they still do!
❄️🍾🎁
Community is the most important thing we have headed into these dark days. While I was writing Sagittarius season it all felt like it was leading up to something, which turned out to be an intention-fueled Solstice party for celebrating your chosen family! There are spells for creating your own magical decorations, a recipe for making 5000 year old cave bread, a tarot inspired punch, and an incredible playlist, curated by the official @hauswitch vibesmith, @etherealoffspring using only Sagittarius musicians! (It’s sooooo good.)
🍊🥂🪩
When it comes to community I have soooo much to be thankful for. Today I’m especially grateful to @morgzilla28, @jordan_awan, and @wisteriawitch for helping create these beautiful images on a winter night not so long ago. Also for @the_bread_code for lending me his cave bread recipe and @_boywitch for helping me execute said bread the way our ancient relatives intended. To Denali for the playlist and Paige @junk_witch for the puns. I also want to give a shout out to my editor @emma.effinger for approving the section title “What is Bread May Never Die” which is definitely one of my favorite things in the whole book. IYKYK lol.
🍞❄️✨
Okay folx, just wanted to give you one more reason to preorder your new favorite book today! January 14th is only a few weeks away!!! You can order from HausWitch and you won’t have to cross any picket lines!

The opening reception of BUBBLEGUM was incredible and I cannot thank everyone enough for coming out to share this special night with me. The gallery was packed. Thank you for coming to enjoy my first solo gallery show!

Matt and Kate from @bluetrianglegallery made this all possible, and without their encouragement and firm belief in my work, this would not have been possible. Thank you to my beautiful friend Helen Popinchalk @hpopinchalk for her amazing color changing artwork installation, and thank you to Kate @patchwork.mix for keeping the energy up and playing great music all night long.

Matt surprised me with a really lovely replica of my “Holy Sheetcake” cake to celebrate my birthday. That moment was simultaneously so beautiful and my worst nightmare at the same time and I loved every second of it. Thank you for celebrating me and making me feel so much love.

Thank you to all of my friends near and far for traveling to be a part of this. So many of you surprised me and I found myself choking back tears many, many times. Thank you to Rob for pushing me to take on this opportunity early this year when I was so vulnerable and scared. Last night reminded me how important love and art really are.

When people ask me what my new book is going to be about….
✨✨✨
Exactly one year ago today I sent the proposal for “Intention Obsession” to my beloved agent @meg_thompson. Even though I knew it would just sit in her inbox until Jan it felt auspicious to send it on the solstice. As of today I’m happy to say that for all intents and purposes the book is done! As for what it’s about- well, just know that it is the weirdest and best thing I’ve ever done and I cannot WAIT for you to read it! In the meantime here are some sneak peaks of @wisteriawitch’s genius photos. Christy had to translate some truly wild ideas into visual spells and she absolutely CRUSHED IT. I will say I’m a little worried Junebug the cat is going to ask for royalties because she is the true star! That little smile gets me every time lol.
✨✨✨
Happy winter holidays everyone! Stay tuned for more in 2024! Love you, mean it!

On Venus day we crown a new queen 👑

Cassandra is the official spokesphinx of @counter.magick , named for the mythical seer and inspired by the legendary guardian of worlds… she is a boundary spell, the Protector of Portals, a soft but sturdy doorstop to protect your space from unwanted guests and gusts! We also like to hold her against our chests for a little weighted stress-relief because she’s a multi-tasking queen! Illustrated by the always amazing @morgzilla28 and printed on muslin cotton fabric by @broderpress of course! Grab one online or stop by the shop to witness her majesty irl! And while you’re here, stick around for our Venus Day Circle with @lipstickmystic , tickets still available! Can you say perfect day?!
