More than just a gym. 🥊

Mark Burger joined Canberra MMA at just 18 years old, looking to get fit and try something new.

Three years later, at 21, he’s an undefeated amateur MMA prospect with a 4-0 record, all four wins coming by way of stoppage.

But beyond the wins and achievements, Mark talks about something we value just as much — the people.

The support, friendships and sense of community that make Canberra MMA what it is.

Community. Consistency. Care.

Whether you’re looking to get fit, learn something new or take your training to the next level, there’s a place for you here.

Stoked for young @morkborgir 🥋

Every time this kid gets the opportunity to scrap, he looks more and more like a future world champion. Calm, precise and aggressive. There’s a confidence and composure developing in him that’s pretty special to watch.

I’m proud of the work he puts in every day, but even more proud to watch him chase something he genuinely believes in.

We build at CBR MMA. Brick by brick.

I want to build a generation of fighters who are sharp, tenacious and dangerous, but that’s only part of it. I want them blue-collar. Hard-working. Loyal. Committed to their teammates and the people around them. Humble enough to keep learning and utterly focused on where they’re going.

No shortcuts. No entitlement. Just showing up every day and putting another brick down.

Mark embodies more and more of that every time I watch him compete.

Still young. Still learning. Still building.

And now 4-0.

Proud of you mate. Congrats. 🧱

💥This Featherweight bout sees Thomas Wark set to face Mark Burger for the second time inside the huge Storm Damage cage.

These men will be ready!

Both have fought after their previous fight against each other and both men saw themselves having their hands raised in victor Both men are extremely excited for this rematch and are super keen to throw down against each other again.

Thomas is fighting out of MD MMA.
Mark is fighting out of CBR MMA.

Both men have improved their skills since the last time they last stood across from each other.

Team went 2-1 @wollongong_wars last night.

@ouga_booga lost a really close split decision. He dropped him, took him down every round and finished ontop with a near TKO finish. I’m not sure how they scored that but here we are 🤷🏼‍♂️

@morkborgir looked great and picked up another TKO win. Very impressive display. 3-0 👀

@brodie.lcs was aggressive with his jiu jitsu and landed a really nice armbar in the second round. Great to see him bounce back after a tough fight a couple months ago.

Extremely proud of the guys that fought and the team that support them. @cbrmma
