Gagged that SNL celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and I was lucky to be the tiniest part.

The wonderful Nick kennel brought me on board for my second project working with him. And anyone who knows him understands what a gift that is. Also- why have I worn so many baby pink leotards for professional gigs? To all the comedians, artists, writers, crew and producers that continue to make the people laugh - happy 50th!! #snl #snl50

10 years ago, I was on a boat jetting off to the Sydney Opera House with @erikaheynatz , @missashbee and our phenomenal dance captain, @darren_a_tyler . We were off to teach Australia's Top V8 Supercar drivers how to skip.. with a skipping rope…

@markjwinterbottom @leehold5worth @willdavison__ @jamesjudecourtney @craiglowndes888 @jamiewhincup all gave it a red hot crack and were such good sports! Apparently, you don’t need to double jump and swipe it through to drive a car really well.. BUT, I’m sure I would crash and burn a lot worse if our roles were reversed lol.

It was an amazing experience watching Erika absolutely own that space, and to hang out with these racers who I would watch year in and year out with my Pop and Dad on telly. Bathurst was always a big one in our family and to meet these boys and see how lovely and genuine they are in real life was such fun! It’s been a difficult 18 months around the world and the struggle is continuing for many. However, I do want to take just one moment to celebrate a life achievement. Last night, I opened my very first Broadway show as an original cast member alongside some very talented people I now call family. Two people in particular that made this special moment even more so, ( Thankyou John, Lacey and Jas for coming along to support!) was my Mum who flew in from Australia last minute and my husband Gareth who shared this experience as he also made his debut.

Just two little Aussies who
moved to the USA four years ago with two suitcases each and an uncertain, bumpy road ahead. But we did it. Blood, sweat, tears and all! There are so many people who have been our biggest supporters and helped us get to where we are today.

Firstly, Chris Ashley, Kelly, Ian, David, Joe and all our producers for believing in me and taking me on this journey. Any and all of the teachers who have imparted their experience and wisdom with me in whatever capacity to be the best performer I could be to join the elite on Broadway. My wonderful friends ( you know!), anyone who ever sent a message of support and congratulations, and of course my family (Hopkins, Blundell & Keegan alike).

Where would I be without the endless hours of taking me to class, competitions, watching shows and endless words of encouragement in an industry that work is never guaranteed. Last night was a night of celebration to you all and an achievement that literally took a lifetime and many helping hands.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I never even entertained the idea that I would one day be living in New York and working on a Broadway show. And to my Gareth, you are exceptional and I love you more and more each and everyday. Happy Broadway Debut to us all! 📸Photo credit by the amazing @marcjfranklin

Today we start rehearsals for Diana the musical on Broadway version 2.0. I’m excited to announce I will be returning as an onstage cast member with four wonderful new swings joining our cast. I would like to welcome them with open arms ( we are very lucky to have you all!) and also take a moment to acknowledge not just my previous super swing ‘team’ , but for swings, understudies and standbys in every live show across the world. An often thankless, stressful job and one of the hardest positions in the biz. These are the people you don’t always see onstage every night, or at the Tonys or on The Mornings shows and are more often than not, overlooked for any or all publicity. These are the people standing at the back of the rehearsal room learning everyone’s roles through copious note taking and marking of choreography. These are the people who turn up everyday and sit in their dressing rooms only to go on (mid show, with notice, with last minute notice) so the show can run that day when an onstage cast member is sick or injured. There is a stigma attached to these roles that the people in them are less qualified or talented. THIS CAN NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! These positions are often the hardest to fill because the requirements are so great. Not only do they have to be triple threats, they have to be dedicated, pick direction up quickly, detail oriented, capable of learning multiple tracks and alternating them each night ( or sometimes two at once) perform under extreme stress, have diverse skills to cover a broad range of character s and remember their value to a company. I hope with all the positive changes and steps forward taken by the Broadway community, we will also continue to support those offstage who keep the shows going for audiences to enjoy.

I would also love to acknowledge our fantastic crew, music, lighting, costumes, scenery, props, hair, production,producing and marketing teams that work tirelessly to bring these shows to life. It takes a VILLAGE!

I am so excited to announce that the Original Broadway Cast Album of Diana - The Musical was released today!

I, along with my fellow cast mates ( including Gareth! ) recorded the album during the Covid lockdown last year. It was under strict ‘bubble’ conditions and not your conventional recording experience. But it was one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had! The labor of love that went into this album was huge and could not have been done without the village of people that bring their very own expertise to this kind of project. And now, it is out there for the world to enjoy. A wonderful memory that I will never forget, perhaps more wonderful are the people I got to share this once in a lifetime experience with. @davidbryanmusic & Joe DiPietro for music and lyrics,

What a treat it was to have a chat with @9news reporter, @genovesemichael about the reopening of Broadway and how excited we are to get back onstage with @dianaonbroadway. @thebrandonkelly made his music theatre choreography debut, @itsmegankane was a female POWERHOUSE onstage and off and my beautiful dance partner @by.tha.way made his music theatre debut in #escapetomargaritaville . They are wonderul, WONDERFUL people and their talent, generosity and work ethic was next to none. Oh, how I miss them… We will always have cheeseburger’s in paradise.
