The first video game, Tennis for Two, was developed on an analog computer and displayed on an oscilloscope to entertain visitors during a lab open house. Nearly 70 years later, the video game industry generates more than $200billion annually and #HBCUs are preparing students to have a seat at the table. In addition to more than 2 dozen teams with e-sports teams, several others have added academic programs.
