We had something very exciting planned for Q2… until everything changed overnight.

A force majeure meant our entire stock was destroyed — just like that. Dump and destroy - you even get a certificate !

I gave myself a weekend to sit with it.
The “what ifs”.
The “what now”.
The “ can I afford this, no, can I afford not to ! NO
And then… we pivoted.

We went local: and what came from that has been nothing short of incredible.

New relationships.
Local businesses supported after days without customers.
Time spent sourcing, creating, rebuilding: even with one of my children right by my side (a life lesson no classroom could ever teach).

With the support of @morrisglobalconsulting, we found solutions we didn’t even know were possible.
From manufacturing to strategy, true community in action.

And with @pranishrocks capturing it all so beautifully, we were able to bring this new chapter to life while supporting another creative industry hit so hard just now.

What started as one of the hardest moments in our journey… turned into something powerful.

Stronger relationships.
Deeper purpose.
A more local, more resilient Happy Tribe.

PS: I did have insurance… but it doesn’t cover war.

LOVE IS ACTUALLY SHOWING UP
Not to be dramatic…
But small businesses don’t survive on tags alone.
They survive on people choosing them.
Ordering.
Recommending.
Going out of their way.
If you’ve done that - thank you 🤍
If you haven’t yet… This is your gentle nudge ✨

(Also… cheaper than therapy, taste better than tears… just saying 🍭🤍✨)

Celebrating @katykdxb birthday!

They say you are the company you keep.

Well Katy, the company you keep is amazing!

To be out with nearly 20 women and for single one to be inspiring, kind and such good craic is a sign of the company you keep.

Had one of the best night I’ve had in a long time.

There’s are least 3 woman I’m reaching out to for my friends dating era.

I love woman so much. I love that when we’re all together and not in competition with each other we produce oxytocin and my god did we all need after the month we’ve had.

Happy birthday darling @katykdxb what an amazing night you put on and what a crowd you are able to pull together.

What a night!

I entered the 'Most Impactful Financial Literacy Project' for the 3rd year and won the commendation award ✨️💫

Then to my huge surprise I also won the 'Most Improved Entrant Year on Year' award. 💫🥂

This is one you don't enter but is awarded to the entrant who had the biggest increase in score from last year to this year ✨️💫

So out of all the entrants, across all categories, mine was the biggest increase year on year 😱

The @mentl.space awards are definitely a highlight of my year each year as it brings together the most fantastic mental health and wellness worlds who's who of Dubai 😍

Well done to @scott_j_armstrong for all you and for creating the @mentl.space awards 💫

I’m truly grateful to @maire_mo_morris & @morrisglobalconsulting for allowing me to lead a meditation session focused on reducing stress and increasing productivity. The power of mindfulness in the workplace is immense, and I’m thrilled to have been part of this wellness initiative.

What’s even more remarkable is that @maire_mo_morris is taking the very commendable step of prioritizing their employees’ mental health — an initiative that not every company takes the time to implement. It’s something to be truly admired and spoken highly of!
Together, let’s continue to build healthier, more mindful work environments!

What practices do you think workplaces can adopt to support mental well-being? Share your thoughts below! 👇

Honoured to be part of the @we.council speaker line-up this weekend alongside the iconic Anna Wintour. A true force who has shaped culture, fashion, and leadership for decades.

From her talk, a few words deeply resonated with me:
“You can’t really worry too much … about what the competition is doing or what other people in your field are doing. It has to be a true vision.”

In today’s entrepreneurial world across beauty, art, philanthropy, and luxury this reminder is everything. Staying anchored in your own vision, rather than chasing trends, is what creates timeless distinction.

She also shared,
“I look for strong people. I don’t like people who’ll say yes to everything I might bring up. I want people who can argue and disagree and have a point of view that’s reflected in the magazine.”

A powerful reflection on leadership one built on collaboration, conviction, and courage of perspective.

✨ A Hat Affair in Abu Dhabi ✨

Two weeks have passed, and we’re still coming off the high of an incredible evening hosted by our wonderful ambassador, @alison.milton1 @irelandembuae , and @techpoweredluxury . It was truly an honor to be among such talented designers, celebrating style, craftsmanship of Irish Design. I was proud to be that Irish Designer based in the UAE showcasing the art of millinery.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the night so special, especially the stunning ladies who wore my designs so effortlessly—you all looked absolutely incredible!
