We are a small farm in the Suisun Valley selling our fruits, veggies, plants, and microgreens at our farm stand.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The quiet art of setting a table no one wants to leave. Our floral centerpieces were not merely decorative; they were a love letter to Suisun Valley agriculture, arranged by the lovely Chelsea of @108petals.

In Chelsea’s own words:

“The arrangements featured primarily dahlias, with touches of gomphrena, celosia, cosmos greenery, and lemon basil, all grown in our backyard flower farm in Suisun Valley.

For this event, I wanted to lean into the deeper, richer colors of the season, particularly the burgundy and purple tones. I felt those colors would complement the elegant atmosphere of the wine pairing beautifully. I also incorporated some softer pinks, peaches, and yellows for contrast.

One of my favorite details was the lemon basil! Plus, it has such a wonderful fragrance. I kept the arrangements small so they would add color and texture to the tables without interfering with conversation. Everything was freshly harvested from what was blooming in our garden that week”.

And that lemon basil created a quiet connection across the table, echoing the basil infused olive oil brushed over the prosciutto and melon, and the fresh Red Rubin basil from @morrisonlanemicrofarms on our plates.

Thank you, Chelsea for lending your talents to Pairings No. 01. We appreciate you!

Comment the word VIP and we will send you the direct link to reserve your seat for the next Linger + Loam gathering.

did you all know I’m also a fruit faerie?! 🧚🍒🍓🍉🍑🍊🍋🍍🍏🍐🥭🫐🍇🦋~*•~*~•~*~•~**~*~*~*~
As the seasons change and shift and swirl and transition; my favorite thing is the shift of seasonal fruit! (and veggies)~ as someone who prioritizes seasonal produce; seeing what’s fresh at the farmers markets from local growers, watching orchards transform, and neighbors fruit trees ripen with every turning of the wheel just does something soo special to my heart🌀💞
I’ve never met a fruit I didn’t love🌈 today I have a basket of locally grown lilikoi aka passion fruit, pineapple guava, and asian pears! From @morrisonlanemicrofarms 💚 I’m still loving on the last of summer fruits; mostly being peaches and strawberries and now grapes. It can be hard to bid farewell to summers yummy fruity abundance~but as an autumn lover, i am very excited to eat my body weight in persimmons, pears, and pomegranates soon enough🍂
Fruit is full of minerals and vitamins and hydration and folk stories and traditions and a vibrant juicy plump ripeness of life force that feels so invigorating and exciting for me!
🌈where my fellow fruit lovers at?!

pretty flowers everywhere! @108petals 🌼

have you heard of 108 Petals? Chelsea is the owner of 108 Petals and she grows beautiful flowers in her lovely garden on Morrison Lane 🌻

over the weekend, she hosted a flower sale where she sold bouquets of flowers. it was a wonderful neighborhood event and her neighbors Lisa of @morrisonlanemicrofarms and Jill pitched in to make the event extra special 🌿

what makes Suisun Valley so special the community, and this event was a perfect example of how supportive our community is here in our small valley 🤍

there was also live music played by Lisa, Chelsea's husband, Nate, and my husband, @mic_airin 🎶

next time there's an event at Morrison Lane, you won't want to miss it! ☀️

make sure to follow 108 Petals and follow Suisun Valley Living for more local gems ✨
