Finally, went to see the Spider-Man exhibit before it closes. Better late than never lol 🕸️🕷️

This was also my first time trying @morrysdeli. It was pretty good. I always enjoy a good sandwich. I’m just a simple gal lol

A Chicago staple since 1960. 🥪📍

Morry’s Deli in Hyde Park is serving up classic deli sandwiches, chicken gumbo, potato salad, and more. We tried the corned beef, Italian beef, turkey pastrami, and finished with pound cake.

Definitely a solid lunch spot if you’re in the area.

Have you been?

How have I never heard of @morrysdeli before? They’ve been serving up New York deli style sandwiches since 1960. The corned beef/pastrami sandwich was perfection - that telling meat is sliced so thin. Melts in your mouth. #NeverOutdoneChi #cornedbeef #deli #choosechicago

You can still see the beautiful blossoms in Jackson Park - but don’t wait! They won’t last much longer.

📍Park at Jackson Park Columbian Basin, 1800 Columbian Drive. Combine it with a visit to the @msichicago

🥪Take a short walk over to @morrysdeli, 5500 S. Cornell, for an amazing corned beef and pastrami.

🚶‍♀️Finish your day with a lakefront walk.

Big thanks to Chicago Parent for highlighting Hyde Park in a series of articles, including the best kid-friendly restaurants in the area - with Cafe 53, Cedars, Medici on 57th, Morry's Deli, Nella Pizza e Pasta, and Valois.

It’s been a little while but from my latest adventures I couldn’t not post the following places. @morrysdeli is a classic new york city style deli and my oh my was i glad i stumbled on it. The sandwiches were to die for and it’s right next to the museum of science and industry so why not make a day of it. Every bite of our triple decker sandwich felt like it melted in your mouth. Additionally, right in the heart of theatre district as you catch a play check out @petterinos_ where the ambiance matches the amazing food. Plenty of famous people have dined here and the pasta options are truly delightful. My short rip mafalde was nothing short of delicious! #keep_on_eating_on
