September was pretty cool. Actually had the chance to check out a few openings and got to take a photo with one of my idols. Oh, and the Annual Labour Day Picnic 👀

On to the final quarter. Crunch time. The championship rounds. Let’s go baybeeeee!! 😬🙌🏽

I reached 44 years of life in this body on Sept 20th. I’m lucky and blessed to spend another birthday alive and well and with a great mix of friends. It’s been an amazing year and life continues to surprise me. Each birthday, much like each year, cycles back around and you never know who’s gonna be there. I feel immense gratitude toward all the people who have entered my life over the last 44 years. I love being in the mix with you all.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me and show me so much love. Thank you for being in my life! I don’t take any of it for granted.

44 feels like the birthday you don’t make too big a fuss of. I didn’t want a big party or to be too much the center of attention. I got my wish, which was to be with good friends in a mostly unplanned, spontaneous night out in Bushwick. Big love and shoutout to the homies who were with me on my birthday this year. @goodgreatgrossman @instabethel @kosukejames @leeaux @novathewraith @avatar_santi @philpowersart @ra_nyc @jaimemarrero

my electrical box spot by the art museum got the 250 buff, so I had to throw up what I had with me.
.
they also planted arbor vitae to hide the @joeboruchow on the opposite side.

August was pretty fucking good. Kicked it off by catching @realcoleworld on tour with one of my childhood best friends, who also happened to be the person that introduced me to Cole’s music back in his mixtape days.

Also did a few things to ease some stress from planning and creating. Went to a couple of pretty cool exhibitions and just got to LIVIN! Also went on my longest none drinking streak of 14 days! Longest I’ve gone not consuming alcohol since the lock down. 🙌🏽

Oh, and put together another summer art show with my partner in crime @mort_art art! It’s probably our most successful summer show to date! 4 years of doing it and we still keep foolin’ ya’ll, so we must be doing something right! Haha 🖼️

Truly thankful for all the support and grateful to all of ya’ll for being part of it! 🙏🏽

Anyway, I’m waffling. I need to get back in the lab and start smooth operating on these upcoming projects we got going on for the next couple of months! ✌🏽

Want to thank everyone that made it out to the opening of “Sorry We’re Open: A Deli & Grocery Group Art Show.” We can officially say that the presentation was a “Great Success!!!” 🙌🏽🍻 A solid artist lineup, a great turnout, and a massive amount of art sold. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Exactly what Thanos intended. Haha.

Also want to thank all the artist part of the show, none of this would’ve been possible without all of you! And to @sweetavenuenyc for being such a great host, and for giving @mort_art and myself a space to keep doing this! 🙏🏽

This is our 8th art presentation at Sweet Ave, 8th!! And each one just keeps getting better, with the help of all of your support! We even have a Bodega Cat now! Her name is Judy. 🐈

Anyway, the art will be up for a couple more weeks. So if you missed the opening, you are welcome to come in anytime during their hours (just google it!) to grab a beer and check out the art. Maybe even take one or two art piece home! 🍺🖼️

21 SOLD SO FAR! THANK YOU! ✌🏽

This past weekend I was part of an amazing group show curated by Paolo and Mort. It means a lot to me to share RE:Mix with the world. It’s a piece of me, my style and inspired by the love/connection of the most important people in my life.

I am honored to share the stage with a deep line up of talent. Some are artists who I have met and admired.. it still feels surreal to me, but I am here and ALL in.

S/O to @_badstudent who brought my work to life. @baybayinbaby for her workshops! They are a vibe & everyone should go! @jaimemarrero for the use his pic (slide 5) Go give him a follow. Most of all to the people who came to show love for the show! You’re the best!!! 🤙🏽💗✨

If you didn’t get to the opening “Sorry, We’re Open” is running for a month. Head to @sweetavenuenyc to check it out. For inquiries about all the art for sale (ahem especially mine 😉) DM @paolo_tolentino or @mort_art
