Thank you @darkskyfilms for putting the film out there, for the release, the screenings and all the hard work that it takes to get an indie film in front of an audience. Thank you to the cast and crew and wonderful artists who have patiently and consistently supported this film over this incredibly long and difficult journey.

One late fall day in 2021, @ottpotato, @mortuck, and I set out for a carnival in the heartland of America, intending only to make some sort of documentary. What we discovered instead was a quiet world tucked beneath the vibrant rides and bright lights.

“The Last Carnival” follows a group of migrant workers during the final days of operating rides at a carnival. These workers have been away from their homes for several months, and as they reflect on time lost with their families, we wanted to show what the American Dream looks like through their eyes.

A mixed bag, but lots of goodies - spent time with family, got my first tattoo with my sister, started a production company with @mingo_mingere and @thegreatwicksby and worked on projects I’m super proud of, made some solid new friendships and was so so lucky to be constantly surrounded by my LA family, my cutie kitties and @ottpotato ❤️
I have no predictions for 2024, 2024 scares me tbh.
