2025. There was so many important moments for me this year. So many important relationships, pivotal moments, and just pure love and joy. I thank god constantly for overcoming so many of my fears and my inner battles. I expect nothing and continue to be in awe of the beauty and hardships that is given to me. As life slows down for so many people like me, I will continue to accept the lessons with gratitude, sass, and careful reflection, but zero restraint & all vada vada. Thanks for being here. Hi 2026

Fantastic quote from @andrew_lock_strength

Talk is cheap because anybody can run their mouth.

Your mission as a lifter is to filter through the bullshit, get into the gym, put theory into practice and find out what does and does not work for you.

The end.

Let’s talk about the beauty of powerlifting!

It’s not like throwing a 100mph fastball where you have to be on point every time

We’ve got room for error

I’ve seen it all

Patient sumo set-ups, carefully maximizing that slack pull off the floor. And then, there are those who just grip it and rip it, manhandling the weight like it’s a joke

Long arm pressers?

They’ve got options too. Some go for the max grip with soft chest touches, patiently forcing that weight up to lockout. Others opt for a closer grip, sinking the bar into the chest, and exploding it up faster than a virgin on prom night (you know what I mean 🫠)

The internet’s full of folks barking orders, including yours truly. But when it comes to lifting, besides your coach, the best advice often comes from those who are built like you making moves under the bar.

So, here’s a nugget of wisdom

Don’t fall victim to paralysis by overanalysis. Go lift that damn bar, even if it’s going to be ugly

You’ll learn something from it

Have a dope week ✌️
