I’m honored to share you this piece from the Grateful Dead Session at @thebermancpa where we talked about Billy Graham, his Jewish Roots. We talked about @chabadsf and how @moshelanger ‘s Father Yoseph, brought this magic together. We also mentioned @menorahinthed and @yairmoses and his father Gadi, @ellabenami and her father Ohad & @leatcorinne & her cousin @omer_shemtov.
Now we just need to @bring_ran_home

Last night, Federation President and CEO Joy Sisisky had the privilege to stand with Mayor @danielluriesf, Israeli Deputy Consul General, and Jewish community leaders as they lit the menorah in San Francisco’s Union Square.

Like other celebrations across the Bay Area, hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah – an incredibly powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of our community.

May the lights of the menorah remind us we are not alone, and the importance of our shared work towards building a thriving Jewish future for generations to come. In the face of hate, let us shine. Best wishes for a very happy Hanukkah!

@sfgiants Jewish Heritage Night 2024 was a success! It had everything except a Giants win! Cantor Luck from @congregationemanuel crushed the anthem! @marcosermoneta68 @israelinsf threw out the first pitch. @shamati_music brought some tribal tunes. @jccsf kids yelled out “Play Ball!”

Thank you for including @ivalueculture #valueculture in the event along with our partner the @jccsf and friends @chabadsf including @shmulikfriedman @moshelanger & his father the Rally Rabbi seen blowing the rally shofar! Unfortunately it didn’t produce any runs like in years past, but it did produce many smiles, community love, and an experience for thousands of people hearing a shofar blown for the first time!

Shout out to @sfgiants fam Giants President Larry Baer, @fahamz , @solomon_craig , @jasonpearl , Rachel, Greg, the whole squad for continuing the tradition and the one and only official S.F. Giants DJ + more @djumami for all the love!

Let’s do it again next year and get a win! Go Giants!
