Summered twice in Bali this year so here’s 20 slides of where & what you should eat in Bali and why #balieats #balifoodguide Behind the @r4d_room4dessert team, @powderroom_r4d makes pretty and delicious sweet treats. The bomboloni was something else (had the dragonfruit mint sorta flavour) @restaurantnusantara by @locavorenxt, one of our fav Indonesian restaurants! We were served the starter platter consisting of nine local snacks; highlight of the meal was the Jukut Kelor Mesanten 🥥 Need no introduction, a Melbourne classic. I always get a cuppa magic wherever available, it was great! Great vibes, great views @fuhouse.seminyak for modern Thai - vibrant and punchy flavours, cute interior Award winner @pinkiesgelato over a mini rice field view. Gelato flavours are so well done. Have to point out that their espresso gelato tasted like Good Measure’s Mont Blanc to me - which made it super fun to enjoy @skoolkitchen for when you want photos for your Bali trip dinner haha. Amazing views, their charred and grilled dishes were pleasant. We over ordered but we cleaned the dishes. Fav warung so far! The first natural wine bar in Indonesia, @mostobali was such a vibe. Delicious wine and no complaints for everything we ordered: 🐟Crostoni - shoyu burnt butter, anchovies, sichuan pepper 🫓Lamb rendang and cotija cheese Xian Bing 🍝Tagliolini, sambal arrabiatta, coriander Tucked inside @furtherhotel, @bar.vera.bali’s a lively spot for dinner, food were decent, enjoyed the barramundi! Melbourne vibe handroll bar 🍣 Had the special Babi guling handroll which was actually tastyy. My advice is to always be conscious when having raw seafood in Bali 🚽 Local babi guling spots that are not touristy or overrated. So good I had the Seri Dewi one twice Brother of yochi, with more protein I actually enjoyed this and don’t think it’s a tourist trap! Loved the whipped feta and raspberry jam The most unique dish I had in Bali. This restaurant only has one item on their menu and it’s this set that comes with rice, both fried fish and fish soup. Perfect for hearty cravings. Locals eat here. Breads of the trips 🥪 Zapfan style warung! Simply good and super affordable Y
