A special thank you to Dr. Caroline, Dr. Alex, and Dr. Christine who gave back to the dance community by sharing their expertise.
And thank you to the dancers who came out for a Free dance screen in honor of National Dance Day on September 19!
As you can see, these dancers were guided through multidirectional movement patterns for a comprehensive look at how they move…including lots of rotation!

Our attendees truly had an ALL-STAR lineup! 🌟

Doing something great takes greatness around you, and this incredible group of panelists showed up and delivered. ❤️

Thank you to our amazing panelists who came from all over the West Coast to bring our attendees knowledge, mentorship, opportunities for growth, and networking.

We could not have done this without each of you. You are all incredibly talented and gifted in your own unique ways, and we are so grateful that you said YES to being part of our inaugural conference.

Thank you all again! We hope you enjoyed what we put together and could feel the love and passion behind it.

I’m not going to lie: this season has tested my limits

There have been….
days I’ve wanted to quit
days I’ve felt angry and exhausted
days where I’ve been scared
days I’ve been completely over it

But somewhere along the way
I remembered who the f*ck I am 🔥

I don’t need to know exactly how this ends,
I just need to trust myself enough to keep moving forward

Keep showing up 🔥✨

📱 Send this to the person who wants to quit

“If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear”. - Kobe Bean Bryant

A long one, but a good one. The fact that this happens on Mamba Day too. I wish I could claim I planned it that well.

Editing after a long shoot day? Your desk setup might be the reason your neck/back hurts 💻🪑

As a PT and photographer, here’s what I actually fix in my own setup:

1️⃣ Monitor height: at eye level (top of screen or just slightly below) + Length: about an arm’s length away(~20–27 in)
2️⃣ Elbows at 90–100° w/ wrist neutral/flat
3️⃣ Feet flat, thighs parallel to the floor
4️⃣ Mouse right next to your keyboard — no reaching
5️⃣ Move every hour — sitting still is the real enemy 🚶

Reality check⚠️: no one has perfect posture but having more body awareness in how you sit and trying to change positions/stretch after every hour or so will have you gaining longevity in your career

💡Pro tip: pair these adjustments with upper body strengthening exercises such as low rows, pec flys, and chin tucks
