Sometimes something as simple as a soccer ball can teach teamwork, leadership and what it means to work together toward a common goal.

For my birthday in Botswana, we gave 6,000 soccer balls to young people - and now we’re bringing the initiative to South Africa 🇿🇦⚽

Before December, I’ll be donating 10,000 soccer balls to schools and community initiatives across the country.

If you know a school or organisation that could use 10 soccer balls, send me a DM and tell me where we should send them.

Let’s get our kids outside, playing, working together and having fun!

Mandela Day reminded us that hope has no borders. ❤️🇿🇦

This year, Hope SA Foundation reached communities across South Africa, serving with compassion, dignity and love.

From Cape Town to Johannesburg (Moffat View & Fietas), Durban (Inanda, Trenance Park, Redcliffe & Osindisweni Hospital), and Pietermaritzburg, we shared hot meals, blankets, hygiene packs, 3000 Krispy kreme donuts, smiles and hope with thousands of people in need.

Since 2020, we have served over 1 million hot meals, continuing our mission to ensure that no one is forgotten.

To every volunteer, sponsor, donor and partner: thank you. Your generosity is changing lives, one meal, one family and one community at a time.

Together, we can keep hope alive every day, not just on Mandela Day.

From Johannesburg to Cape Town. From Durban to Pietermaritzburg. We showed up with meals, blankets, kindness and hope—because no one should be forgotten.

Mandela Day is more than 67 minutes. It's choosing compassion every single day.

The TBF Court Preparation program empowers children to be credible witnesses. We equip children with the necessary skills and knowledge for court appearances.

This includes addressing children’s fears about court proceedings, offering emotional support to both child and parent, providing accompaniment for the child during court appearances and delivering follow-up support after the court experience.

Thank you @moticares for the donation of blankets to keep beneficiaries warm during court abuse cases as they wait in the cold courtroom corridors.

Every winter, the Moti Cares Foundation seeks to provide warmth and nourishment by hand-delivering thousands of blankets and basic foodstuff to South Africa’s most vulnerable communities.

It’s that time of the year again. Winter is here, and Moti Cares is stepping in 🫶

This year, we are distributing 20,000 blankets, together with loaves of bread, to vulnerable communities, families, shelters and care organisations across South Africa.

The first handovers start this weekend and will continue every weekend until the end of winter.

Now, we need your help to reach the people who need it most.

You can be part of this year’s drive by nominating a charity, shelter, care centre, family or community in need in the comments below.

Once you have commented, please DM me your contact details and more information about your nomination, so the Moti Cares team can follow up, verify the details and help ensure support reaches the right people.

Let’s work together to bring warmth to those who need it most this winter.
