COCKTAILS & CONVERSATIONS

Cocktails & Conversations… and I left full in ways I didn’t expect

Most people hear “invite only” and assume it’s cliqued up… exclusive in a way that shuts people out.
But what I experienced was different. It was covering.

It was intentional. It was protected. It was a room where everyone was considered before they even walked in. Where the energy was prayed over, not just planned. Where you didn’t have to perform to belong.

They knew I don’t drink and made sure I was accommodated without hesitation. And that alone spoke volumes.

As someone who has struggled with social anxiety, rooms can feel overwhelming. But this one felt like a hug. Safe. Gentle. Honest.

I’ve had seasons where my vulnerability was mishandled, even used against me. So I learned to shrink, to guard, to question if I was “too much.”

But in this season, I see it clearly… my vulnerability is not a weakness. It’s my strength. It’s the very thing God is using to connect me, heal me, and place me in the right rooms.

We prayed. We laughed. We poured into one another.

Everything about it was thoughtful. The spring styling, the food, the atmosphere… but what stood out most was the intention behind it all. Every person in that room was hand selected, and I didn’t question it… I received it.

God, thank You for covering, thank You for aligning me with spaces that see me, honor me, and hold me well.

I’m not chasing rooms anymore.
I’m being placed.

And this season… I’m walking in answered prayers 💐

As we celebrate Women's Month, we are filled with immense gratitude for your support and dedication to our cause. Your commitment to empowerment echoes in every corner of our endeavors, and we couldn't be more grateful for the impact you help us create.

Throughout this month, we have been part of numerous events and initiatives celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women worldwide. These events have been truly amazing, showcasing the incredible diversity and power within our community.

However, amidst the festivities, we want to pause and reflect on the essence of EmpowHERment that extends far beyond just one month of the year. Empowerment knows no boundaries of time or occasion—it is a continuous journey, a steadfast commitment to lifting each other up in times of need and triumph alike.

Every day, we are reminded of the profound importance of our mission as we extend our hands to those who need it most. Last week, we were there for a woman who faced the harrowing experience of sexual assault, offering her support, resources, and a safe space to heal. Today, we stand by the side of another woman who just lost her job, providing her with guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to rebuild her life. And tomorrow, we will continue to be a beacon of hope for the woman tirelessly caring for her husband in his final days, offering solace, compassion, and strength during her most challenging moments.

These are just a few examples among countless others of the vital work that we do, thanks to your generous support. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of women from all walks of life, ensuring that no one is left behind or forgotten.

As we celebrate Women's Month, let us also reaffirm our collective commitment to empowerment, knowing that our impact extends far beyond this momentary celebration. Let us continue to stand shoulder to shoulder, lifting each other up, advocating for change, and creating a more equitable and inclusive world for all.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. With your continued support, we will keep empowering women, transforming lives, and building a brighter future for generations to come.

Rule # 1:

Don’t worry about what they think! 👏

Empowerment means more than a word, it means being confident in your ability to make your own decisions and owning it.

Do something big this week. Make a decision that you’ve been contemplating for awhile. You got this ❤️🔥
