POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As part of our capstone project, we were required to develop an original script, produce a proof of concept, and pitch both the story and proposed crew to a panel as part of a competitive selection process. Only selected teams were approved to move forward into full production.

These photos are from our proof of concept, which served as a pre-production and development tool—allowing us to test the script’s emotional impact, visual language, and technical approach ahead of full production.

More proof-of-concept photos coming soon.

Hoping has always been part of the story, but so has staying grounded.

“Eyes on the sky, feet on the ground” is a reminder that hope doesn’t float without effort, and vision only matters when it’s carried forward with intention.

Early mornings. Long pauses. Conversations between takes.
People standing together, shaping ideas until the moment feels right.
Adjustments no one will notice but would feel if they were missing.

Behind the scenes is where uncertainty lives.
Where decisions are shared, questioned, and committed.
Where trust, patience, and belief quietly shape the story before it reaches the screen.

This film was built in these in-between moments.
The unseen efforts. The shared intention.
The work of bring people together so the story holds its truth.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

The work never really stopped.
It was just quieter from the outside.

Progress continued, just away from view. Time created distance, and that distance brought clarity. What needed refining became obvious. What didn’t belong fell away.

This film has always been about intention.
Now, as post-production comes together, the film feels resolved in a way it didn’t before.

We’re close. And ready to share what this has become.

We weren’t gone. We were becoming.

Planning, planning, planning...

Moth to a Flame was shaped by intention- through
careful planning and execution, because what looks effortless on screen is carefully engineered. 🎬✨

Location scouting is a lot of driving around and standing still… but when it feels right, you just know it’s the one.

The opening setup is always full of anticipation, as everyone aligns with the director’s vision while cast and crew find their rhythm and establish the pace for the shoot.

When asked about it, Director Breech Quincy explains, “It’s in that first setup that the entire language of the film begins to take shape. Everyone is calibrating, the cast, the crew, the camera, and those early choices set the emotional and visual tone for everything that follows. And then, in a sudden rush, you realise-‘F*, it’s coming together. This is it! It’s really happening.’”
