POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Fort Worth Americana artists Mountain Natives joined us out at Wannabe Farms ( @wannabefarmsfoodtruck ) in Mesquite, NM for a live session of their new track "Marmalade". The duos harmonies were as sweet as the very fruit picked in the orchard they were standing in. Their song "Marmalade" serves as a letter to the resiliency of love after everything else - even after all the years and after all the stars have faded away, their love shines as bright as the sun peaking over them through the trees.

Enjoy.

We kicked off our fall season in style last Friday, and the Labor Day weekend energy was amazing! 🎸 Blue Water Highway headlined, with Mountain Natives warming up the crowd first, a solid opening to the season. And true to Levitt tradition, the night kicked off with the Levitt Youth Spotlight performer Nate Benton, this program is made for local young artists to get the chance to shine!⭐️

Day 1 trying to finish the huge MARMALADE 🍊 10 songs, 10 paintings. Can you imagine the big one looking more like these other 10 on the wall? (I guess you can only see 8, the other 2 are covered. I’ll remedy that soon.) I wanted to paint the way our music made me feel 🧡

Dolly Parton how you sparkle! Where does my painting of Dolly glow best? Let me know your thoughts! Also the consensus via text, dm, and comments on Facebook say that I should leave her as is, which was my gut decision to begin with! I just needed y’all’s confirmation, because I normally cover this part of the process up. Thank you everyone for all the LOVE on my tribute to Dolly Parton. My heart feels full!

@dollyparton thank you for sharing the love of Jesus Christ 🕊️🤍

Dolly, I wish I could give this to your family. Praying for them during this time of grief. So many beautiful things you did, an example to us all. This is how I see you in heaven with Jesus.

Although, I’m not sure I’m finished with it? Should I add color to her and her flower crown or leave it sepia toned?

💞 @dollyparton 💕
