The past two years of running with + manifesting @earthbound.trail have brought some of the most profound experiences and people into my life. Never in my life did I imagine something as simple as putting one foot in front of the other would shape the way I view myself and my connection to this Earth 🫂

The creativity it inspires within me and the creative folk (big shouts @shotby.dp and @derek_brajevich) I am continually inspired by are something I’ll never get over. I owe it to every single one of you I’ve met along the way. Y’all are special ones, wholeheartedly ❤️‍🔥

#runondirt forever, it’s pure magic!

Tap, tap. Is this thing on? I've been pretty quiet on the social media front these days. I've no idea how new parent athletes, especially those with full-time jobs, can keep up on the social stuff. But after a couple of weeks of racing that I'm pretty proud of, it's time for a post.

Recent results:
- Oct 10th: 2nd place @mountaintigerrunning Diablo
- Oct 3rd: 1st place (and CR) @starcityhalfmarathon
- Sept 10th, Big Sky: 8th place at @runtherut VK
- Sept 11th, Big Sky: 8th place at @runtherut 28K
- Aug 7th, Ireland: 1st place Lug Uphill (and the final of the Irish Uphill League)
- Aug 8th, Ireland: 2nd place Tinahely Half Marathon (and the final of the Irish Mountain Half Marathon league)

In Ireland and Montana, I wanted to respect where my body is at, post-shoulder surgery and newborn rearing, starting all the races conservatively before ripping strong second halves to climb into contention. But in San Bruno, on my new home trails, I went flat out from the gun and it felt great. Nice to feel that semblance of sustainable fitness again. Then this week, behind a dominant Darren Thomas, a few of us had ourselves a great little race for the remainder of the podium.

I love trail running.

It’s never too late to chase something new! I never would have thought I’d be running super challenging trail races (shout out @mountaintigerrunning – this one up Mt. Diablo was 12.4 miles with 4k vertical gain). I have a feeling that future me will look back on this video with a nostalgic smile, knowing this was really just the beginning.

Massive shoutout to my sister in law @kenzie_prag for reminding me (and herself!) that signing up to do hard things and then finishing well is always worth the effort. Always. So proud of you!
