Released on August 23, 2005, “Eyedollartree” is the second studio album from hip-hop duo Blood Of Abraham (@bloodofabraham) 🪙
Released on MasterGrip/Basement Records, “Eyedollartree” was the follow-up to the 1993 debut “Future Profits”. Representing Los Angeles, California, the duo known as Blood Of Abraham was composed of members Benyad (@morbros) and Mazik. Embracing their Jewish heritage, the duo were signed by the late Eazy-E (R.I.P.) to Ruthless Records in the early ‘90s, leading to the release of their studio debut “Future Profits”. Following the death of Eazy-E, Blood Of Abraham went on hiatus, eventually resurfacing in 2000 with the unofficial release of their sophomore album “Eyedollartree”, originally intended for release independently on MasterGrip/Atomic Pop. In 2005, after being picked up by Basement Records, the album was officially released. Hailed as “one of the most far-reaching and eclectic albums…”, the official release of “Eyedollartree” included a bonus DVD with an award winning short film and videos. Production on the album was handled by Blood Of Abraham themselves, alongside Cyrus Melchor (@mountcyanide) and Motiv8 (@djmotiv8). Guest features include will.i.am (@iamwill), Kool Keith (@officialkoolkeith), and Divine Styler 🪙
Following the release of “Eyedollartree”, Benyad would go on to become a well-known music video director, working with various artists, including the Black Eyed Peas (@blackeyedpeas) 🪙

The vintage Jensen 918 started me on my quest. There wasn’t a readily available preamp circuit for it so I made my own. It turned out great and some other DIY’ers liked it and wanted some too. So I continued on and eventually designed my own opamp. An original opamp. A clone of none. We use the past to learn for the future not emulate past glories. Building upon the greats is the only way to get better. Copycats just keeps us stagnant and chasing past profits. We want sonic bliss so we learn, adapt and put our own personal tastes into it. And hopefully someone else digs it. And they record someone and they dig it too. Let’s build. #mountcyanide #producer #recordingstudio #audioengineering #deanejensen #jensentransformers #lundahltransformers
