Let’s give a warm Highland-style welcome to our newest Supporting Member Businesses: @whiskeykitchenmountdora @laspalmasmountdora

We’re so thankful to have your support, and we look forward to bringing our crew over soon for a Last-Tuesday-Lunch and a quarterly Happy Hour!

Make sure you pop in at both of these wonderful restaurants, grab a drink, and thank @ednalpmdseb and her crew for their support of the Sister City connection!

(Also, shout-out to the @mountdorachamber for facilitating the monthly Business-at-Breakfast… best networking opportunity in Lake County!)

Gotta love our @cmdpipeband !

Besides bringing the sound of the Highlands to Mount Dora every month at Plaid-in-the-Park, they’re also the ones responsible for helping to bring the Mount Dorans TO the Highlands!

In case you missed it, the Mount Dora Sister Cities Association has partnered with @personaltoursof_scotland to plan a 10-day Group Tour of Scotland next summer! (More info available at the link in our bio).

Meanwhile, the Mount Dora Pipe Band is sponsoring a raffle (and we’re helping) and guess what the prize is!!?

Yep, TWO SPOTS ON THAT AMAZING 10-Day TOUR!

Tag the friend who needs to go with you to Scotland… and make sure you get your name on the “going” list asap!

This week’s lineup is looking pretty good, if we do say so ourselves!

A quick calendar note: there’s no yoga this Thursday, but Run Club is still happening at 7 PM. Lace up, bring a friend, and come get those miles in with us.

We’re also welcoming several new musicians to the stage this week. Come hang out, grab a drink, enjoy some new sounds, and show them plenty of community love.

And then there’s the pumpkin rumor. Word on the street is that the pumpkin ale MAY make an appearance by this weekend AND
Chef Joey MAY be bringing something pumpkin-inspired out of the kitchen this weekend. We’re not saying you need to investigate, but we’re also not saying you shouldn’t.

See you soon!
