POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Your wedding day though my Lens 📸

It’s the big moments, the little details, the in-between moments and all the little things that might go unnoticed in the moment but will mean so much when you look back.

Every wedding is different. Every couple has their own story, their own people, their own way of celebrating and no two days will ever be the same.

And that’s what I love about it.

My job is to capture it all. The details you’ve spent months planning, the people who mean the world to you, the moments you might not even realise are happening, and the feelings you’ll want to remember long after the day has passed.

Because your wedding isn’t just about one big moment. It’s a whole story, made up of so many little ones.

And I’ll be there to capture them, just as they are, through my lens. ✨

If you’re in the process of planning a wedding I have availability for weddings and elopements for 2027 onwards 🤍

Nourish at Gnomon ✨

What a beautiful evening at Mount Gnomon Farm, with the incredible talent of the Tasmanian Sympathy Orchestra filling the barn with music.

A special selection of pieces, thoughtfully put together for Saturday evening, created the perfect atmosphere for an evening of good food, great company and beautiful music.

There’s something pretty magical about sitting in a farm barn surrounded by music from such talented musicians. 📯✨

A beautiful evening at Gnomon.

From the Artistic Director @juliafreddo: -
Last week was an exciting week for Van Diemen’s Band team. We not only received @apraamcos State Luminary award, but we were also a finalist in the category of Regional Excellence amongst an amazing cohort of organisations doing wonderful work in regional Australia. (Huge congrats to @chambermusicadelaide and @portaugustaperformingarts for winning this award ❤️). We were nominated for our Lunchbox Concert Series, short-form affordable concerts with amazing artists (from Tassie, the mainland, and overseas) in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. These concerts are supported by @cityofhobarttas @princesstheatrelaunceston , @cityofburnie @burniearts and @artstasmania and we simply could not do these concerts without this support.

These awards are so important for our sector. A large majority of recipients of these awards are creating their work in an increasingly challenging funding environment, so this mark of recognition is even more meaningful. Huge congratulations to all of the winners and finalists and thanks to all the industry peeps who take the time to nominate.

Bringing music to regional Australia is one of our favourite things to do. The atmosphere in the room in regional and remote areas is electrifying, and the reactions are authentic and visceral. Performing new Australian works by the really talented living composers we are lucky to work with is the icing on the cake. Big ❤️ to all our audiences, musicians, composers and of course the awesome VDB team of not-very-many-people-who-get-shit-done. This award is for you. X-

One hell of a party for Dee + Liam back in Feb 😍

We’ve been struggling to keep up with post g on socials now that we’re mostly settled into our off-season in front of the computer working hard to finish our galleries from the last few months!

It’s so nice to be able to look back on the season and the amazing amount couples that we got to capture and help celebrate - we’re so lucky to do what we do and it’s the quiet times like these that give us the chance to reflect and appreciate ❤️‍🔥

We’re so grateful to all of the couples we’ve worked with, lovely family and friends who’ve made us feel welcome over the last year!! And to the couples who we get to celebrate in the next 6-12 months, we are so excited to go on this journey with you!!

Lucy & Lochie xx
