I love weekends like this - a lot of mess and dirty dishes, which means we lived 🤍 how was your weekend?

To be honest, 2025 wasn’t my most successful year for thrifting. I didn’t do it as much, and there weren’t many major or truly iconic furniture finds, mainly because I don’t really need big pieces anymore. I already have everything I need to live comfortably, so I’m no longer actively hunting for them.
Still, I managed to fulfill a long-time dream and replace my round dining table with a vintage extendable one. I also found a Lumina Daphine Cloe table lamp for an absolutely ridiculous price, and came across two Lumina Daphine wall lamps, but those are a story for another day.
Finding a B&O Beogram 1202 at a very low price was a big surprise as well. It wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I couldn’t leave it behind, even without the original cartridge. A great turntable, but the true cost of ownership is the cartridge, and probably not worth the hassle for someone new to the hobby like me. But despite that I do really enjoy it 🤍

Happy New Year, everyone! I know I’m a bit late with all the NY trends, but I’m jumping on the last train 🚂. Here are some of the lessons I’ve learned this year as an interior stylist, photographer, and content creator. Excited for what’s ahead in 2026!
