The hustle is canceled.

This has not only been my mantra for the past few years but how I choose to fully embody my life - today, tomorrow, and moving forward.

I no longer measure success by some “idea” of what I used to think success had to look like. I no longer do things that rob me of my joy or feel like they are sucking my soul simply because I believe it will “get me somewhere,” or lead to something else, or live up to some false ideal standard I learned to (and then chose to) set for myself.

The culture in which we live of “busy overachievers” seems to “require” a hustle, as does the entrepreneurial world. It’s as if we are doing something wrong if we’re not hustling. The idea that the only way to achieve success is by overloading our plates, overwhelming our minds, and taxing our bodies is neither sustainable nor healthy and - well - false.

As one does, I learned this the hard way and though it took me a handful of different messages to finally learn, I apply it to my life and live it every day.

The hustle is canceled.

This has not only been my mantra of the year but how I choose to fully embody my life - today, tomorrow, and moving forward.

Last year I experienced one of the biggest exhales of my life, a transformational year to say the least.

✨ Rock Stars I’m back! ✨

As the year came to a close, I stepped away to recharge, reboot, and reclaim some much-needed me time. As a true Libra, I happily give so much of myself, but every now and then, I reach a point where I need to pause and refill my cup. My end-of-year retreat was all about reflection, tranquility, and joy, and now I’m feeling ready to embrace all that 2025 has in store!

I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone I’ve worked with, collaborated with, learned from, taught, and traveled with this past year. 2024 was full of so many firsts for me, and I am sitting in deep gratitude for every moment, every lesson, and every opportunity to say YES and do the thing!

Now, let’s keep this energy rolling and ROCK OUR BEST into 2025! I’m kicking off the year by teaching this week at @Heartbeathouse:

💃 Rockyourbest Afro-Carib Dance Fitness
🗓 Wednesday 6:30 PM
🗓 Friday 12 PM

💪 Rockyourbest Barre/Condition
🗓 Thursday 11:15 AM

I can’t wait to move, sweat, and vibe with you all. Let’s make this year unforgettable! 🌟
