Aesthetic VS non-aesthetic work & life update as a new full time Pilates instructor …

1️⃣ Decided to blow dry my hair (rare) because I actually went out to be social on a Saturday night (also rare) and this happened… I think it’s a sign ✂️👀 #aestheticvsreality #chopitoff

2️⃣ Loving my regular classes @cocoflow Loughborough 😍 honestly have to pinch myself walking into the studio each time. Such a dreamy place to call work… the sofa is honestly comfier than my sofa at home so have seriously considered moving in 😏 I have really loved getting to know everyone who comes to class, hearing about their week, laughing together and seeing how they progress every time is such a beautiful thing! 🤩 I’ve also had so much support from the development team here and feel really grateful to be part of such an amazing team 💫 SO LUCKY #pilatesinstructor #careerchange #pilatesjourney

3️⃣ Still figuring out when / where to eat between classes so been having quite of lunches/ dinners out of plastic and spending quite a lot :/ Need to get back on food prep! 👩🏽‍🍳

4️⃣ Been covering quite a few classes @aurapilatesstudio which is a lovely space near me 🤍met more lovely people and also tried Kennis’s strength class here and omg I’ve never hip thrusted so heavy in my life … I would NEVER in the gym, especially because I’ve been to the gym once in the past year 🫣😂 but she told me I could and I did 🥹 thank you @movementby.kt 🔥💙 #strengthtraining #strongwomen

5️⃣ Been trying to figure out self employed life… spoke to an accountant, asked google a lot and made a lot of spreadsheets 🤓 #spreadsheets #selfemployedlife

6️⃣ Lots of doggy dates 🐶💚 I can’t commit to or afford a dog so I’m just making new friends with dogs instead 😋 #doglife

7️⃣ I’ve had more sofa/ tv time than usual but it has helped me to switch off on days when I’ve been feeling a little rocky so trying to give myself grace to just be slow and lazy 🐌 #slowliving #lazydays

8️⃣ Embracing cosy season with soup and cinnamon bun lattes and oats and cute grandma dates ☕️👵 #cosy #autumn

9️⃣ Had a few days when I felt low/ low energy but reminded myself I’m going through a huge life transition and also weening

MEET THE TEAM 🤎

The faces behind TRL, across Mansfield & soon to be Arnold🫶

We’re so lucky to have such an amazing team, all bringing their own style, energy & personality to their classes! We’ll always encourage you to mix it up and get booked in with all of our instructors across both studios, everyone brings something a little different to TRL.

So proud of the team we’ve built & so excited for this next chapter!

See a face you haven’t had a class with yet? Mix it up & give their class a try ✨🤎

We are completely normal and professional at all times.

What did you think we were doing between classes?

One little ball. Absolutely zero chill. 🪩

Pop it between your thighs, your calves, behind your knee, or under your side in side-lying - and suddenly your body has opinions. Strong ones 😅

That’s the magic of adding a small prop to your reformer work. It wakes up the bits that have quietly been on holiday, improves how you carry yourself, and makes every movement feel more connected.

Your posture doesn’t need a lecture. It just needs a ball and a bit of encouragement. ✨
