In a patriarchal society that profits off of our exhaustion, women are taught to overwork, push harder, rush, and stay overstimulated. For a lot of us, this is has become our natural state. Leaning into rest can help women combat the effects of this toxic society. We have been taught that rest = laziness, however rest is truly a powerful tool that helps us tune into the present and reconnect with ourselves. Rest is a birthright and an act of rebellion against our culture of overwork.

Join us on Saturday, June 27 at @sakalacommunity for a cozy evening designed to help you slow down, regulate your nervous system, and feel supported through restorative yoga, sound healing, and a women’s circle to help guide you home to yourself.

As June arrives in Golden, summer begins to bloom in the foothills with longer days, warm sunshine, and vibrant energy all around. It’s a season that invites us to slow down, reconnect, and embrace the fullness of the present moment.

This month at Rise, we come together through movement, meditation, sound, and community to nourish ourselves and celebrate the joy and lightness of summer. May this season inspire you to move with intention, rest deeply, and continue growing in meaningful ways.

We look forward to practicing and connecting with. ☀️🌿
