The session will be led by Miss Dipna from Move With Joy, an educator, author and movement artist, bringing together movement, mindfulness and joyful expression in a session created for parents and children to experience together.

25 October: A unique, interactive experience with @corruga.in where you and your child build your own train, travel through different stations, take on fun challenges and activities together.
At the end, your train comes home with you as a keepsake of the experience.

We spent our weekend with @dipnaa and @freedna at the @bookaroolitfest where we learnt lots about kindness, storytelling and folktales! 🐒📚

A blanket on the grass, a storyteller with half the park leaning in, and a very excited four-year-old who had no idea she was about to fall in love with her first book fest.

We didn’t really have a plan — just followed the stories. Did the movement, the silly voices, the parts where you can’t help but join in. Somewhere in there she just... opened up. Dancing with strangers like they’d known each other forever. Then crayons, then one more story, then one more after that.

And somehow, the day still had room for a playground at the end.

This is the whole thing, isn’t it. Not the planning. Just showing up, and letting a story take you wherever it wants to go.

Stories entered my life when I was very young.
My earliest memories with stories was when I was a little girl and when dad would tell stories to my sister and me. All improvised. With voice modulation and sound effects. Vivid descriptions and a whole sensorial experience!
And then some of my first storybooks that I got as a gift from a family friend when I was hospitalised at the age of 5. My steady companions for a very long time!

Who knew a love like that would then one day emerge as a physical desire to write and tell stories of my own.
I am so grateful to everyone who has helped bring to life my first book - ‘About the Friend in My Heart’ - @thematchboxgirl , @blind_glass , @unmana_bombay , @soshivaniofher , @red_pandaindia , @westland_books .

Because of this book, I get to experience my dream of being a children’s book author and be at literature festivals shoulder to shoulder with writers and illustrators that I’ve admired for years!

I spent the last weekend at @neevacademy ‘s @neevliteraturefestival - observing, listening and connecting with my own inner voice.
An incredible festival dedicated entirely to the universe of children’s literature.

Little Dipna is so proud and is back with a heart filled with dreams and ideas ready to explode!
And a deep knowing that we need to do better for *all* the children of the world.

I feel all of life is a preparation for who I am becoming and funnily enough (yet beautifully), I feel I’m just getting started ✨
