Movie collectors, this is your kind of store.

Stopped by to celebrate the opening of my friend Mark’s Hi Voltage Video in North Miami, and there’s a lot to dig through.

4K UHD, Blu rays, DVDs, VHS and LaserDiscs, plus boutique label releases, international imports, rare and out of print titles, signed editions and movie artwork. From cult classics to horror favorites, your movie night just got an upgrade.

🍿🩸 THAT’S A WRAP ON POPCORN FRIGHTS 2026! 🩸🍿

What an incredible week and a half for our horror family. Between the movies, late nights, laughs, scares, familiar faces, new friends, and everything in between, Popcorn Frights gave us plenty of memories this year. 🖤🎬

One of the best parts of events like this is getting to experience them together — supporting horror, meeting other people in the community, discovering new filmmakers, and spending way too many hours in dark theaters with people who love this genre just as much as we do. 😂🔪

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the festival and to the entire Popcorn Frights team for continuing to give South Florida horror fans such an amazing experience.

Here’s our massive photo dump from the last week and a half. 📸👻

Until next year… keep supporting horror, keep showing up for the community, and we’ll see you at the next one. 🖤🍿#wiltonmanors #horror #horrorgroup #southfloridahorror

Well, that’s a wrap on another year at Popcorn Frights Film Festival! This year truly felt like it was programmed for me. Between some killer new features (the closing night film ‘Drag’ was awesome, other standouts include ‘Colony,’ ‘Unholy Night’ and Eric Zaldivar wonderful doc ‘Best Served Cold: How a Revenge Film was Buried for Decades.’), screening perhaps my favorite film of all time ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ along with ‘Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey’ with the great William Sadler in attendance. Hearing incredible stories from the talented and hilarious Michael Ironside alongside screenings of ‘Total Recall’ and ‘Scanners.’ The first ever (as far as I’m aware!) shadowcast of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ w/ the original directors cut ending (shoutout Erynn Dalton for a job well done!!!). Seeing ‘Polyester’ for the first time in Odorama as John Waters intended. A live commentary of ‘Sleepaway Camp’ from the wonderful and kind Felissa Rose. It was hit after hit after hit this year.

Michael Ironside ended his ‘Scanners’ Q&A yesterday by talking about how important it is that everyone at the fest has found their tribe, and that it’s something that needs to be cherished and maintained. Even though I’m only a part-time Floridian, this fest runs in my blood, and I couldn’t be more thankful for it. Cheers to and Marc along with the rest of the staff (Mercy, Luvy and all of the people over at Savor Cinema!). I’m so proud of the fest that we put on, and already can’t wait until next year!

Dinner before dinosaurs? Yes, please. 🍔🦖🍿

Allison Rose takes us through tonight’s goodies at Popcorn Frights before the special advance screening of The End of Oak Street, courtesy of Popcorn Frights and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Burgers, treats, movie night, and then Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor trying to survive what’s waiting at the end of Oak Street. Not a bad Wednesday night.

The End of Oak Street hits theaters August 14.

It was a mean green mother from outer space kind of Sunday at @popcornfrights, thanks to Infinite Abyss Productions' truly inspired shadowcast of the director's cut of #LittleShopOfHorrors (aka The Intended Version), Frank Oz's very best movie. My favorite experience at the movies this year to date.

Now that's enterTAINment! 🎞🎬🎼🎙🎵🎶

Aliens 40th anniversary night with @popcornfrights 🖤🍿
It’s terrific to see the community that cherishes film industry but horror in particular in FL. It has been a pleasure meeting @movielustinfool and connecting with him over the mutual passion for the genre and industry as a whole. @popcornfrights hosts regular movie screenings all over Broward area in the most iconic niche theaters that feel warmly nostalgic ✨
