Another 5 unexplainable weeks of building more than a festival. A temporary world that always reminds me to slow down, and hold both the joy and the fragility of life closer. I feel reminded of who I am. I am grateful I get to witness and be part of the care that gets poured into each detail of the festival.

Left with a full heart and my soul family, who I’ll carry with me long after the structures are gone. Thank you community. 🪽

Living a bit on the more relaxed kind of pace lately because my body asks for it. It’s a rollercoaster adapting to this new pregnant body with these new limits. But doing better at finding this new balance and enjoying more again. Also blessed being surrounded with the best and most supportive family and friends!

Some stills from the trip of a lifetime this winter on 35mm film.

Sri Lanka - Emirates - New Zealand - Australia - Thailand - Malaysia

105+ hours of travelling in 10 weeks, working with festivals, playing gigs and sharing the trip with my brother and partner @roy.dest

It’s a surreal feeling coming back to the place I spent a big part of my childhood in Sri Lanka for the first time in 20 years and to get to travel as far away as New Zealand so that the next furthest thing is basically to leave the planet.

Want to give a big shoutout and love to everyone who was part of this journey and also to all who made this possible especially:

and @ala.la.land & @zenim__ with @by.jello + crew

Beautiful people from a special time at the @art_forest_experience. I’m so glad I managed to take my Fujifilm camera with me (a last minute decision) I got to capture the external gorgeousness of these souls that are just as beautiful inside.

Will always remember my time at the Art Forest as one that showed me that possibilities can actually become choices. The choice to put your peace and joy first. The choice to treat your inner child like it’s still a living, breathing thing. The choice to value kindness above all else. And the choice to trust your instinct and let it guide you.
