As the nights start to close in, we’re looking back on a busy summer of events. One night stands out: Pret’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at Magazine London 🪩

900 guests from all over the globe. A large disco ball installation, LED drummers, a swing band and a dancefloor that filled the moment the DJ took over. Forty years of Pret, a decade to dance to for everyone.

We took it from concept to delivery, fully managing the live event on the night.

About last night...Inspiring Stories at 60 Great Queen Street x @speakerscornerbureau

An evening of big questions about the future surrounded by historic Art Deco spaces. Speakers Corner did a fantastic job of curating a programme of inspiring speakers, sharing their thoughts on where the world of work and beyond is heading amid AI advances.

The key-takeaway? Human collaboration, social capital and connecting at events like this are more important than ever.

Thank you to our partners for bringing the spaces to life and curating a beautiful evening:

Do people still matter?… now more than ever! 🤝

What a wonderful evening listening to 3 incredible speakers about the use and future of AI in many different aspects of life and work.

The idea that it’s important to teach both and test both in a format of AI much like the introduction of the calculator back in the day. Why humans are unpredictable and that’s ok. Finally when Margaret said it’s all about “social capital” and how we rely on the human connection for support and that’s what’s beautiful about the human race.

A marvellous and thought provoking evening.

We didn’t use AI to write this post 🤣

We usually like to do big round-ups of our events, but this one was too special not to focus on each and every element 💞

Some suppliers just get it, and Moving Venue are one of those teams we absolutely love having by our side.

From bacon sandwiches at 8am (very much needed!) and gorgeous bites throughout the day, to the jaw-dropping table set-ups, beautiful lamb main and every last glass of wine poured until 10pm… their incredible standards never slipped.

Last week was a long one, and events like this only happen when you have brilliant people around you who care just as much about the details as you do. Moving Venue absolutely smashed it, yet again, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of the whole team.

We’ll be back together this Christmas, this time for a very different style of event and catering. We can’t wait!!

Thank you again @movingvenue 🤍
