mowl Osaka 1st Anniversary Event

Time flies — mowl Osaka has already celebrated its first anniversary, and we held our anniversary event this past weekend.

In addition to our mowl Ambassadors, two young players, Kaito and Kai, joined us on stage and delivered incredible performances that brought amazing energy to the venue.

To everyone who visited, all performers, and every customer who continues to support mowl — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We also have two major events planned for the future at mowl Osaka:
• April 4th – Yo-Yo Day in Japan
• June 6th – mowl 10th Anniversary Event

We would love for you to save the dates and join us.
Thank you again for your continued support of mowl Osaka.

After my first Nationals in 2012, I left Chico with a second place medal and a dream of one day becoming champion. Thirteen years later, I’m proud to share that dream is now a reality. Thank you all for believing in me 🪀

In the west Ikigai has become a sales phrase, but in Japan it often requires a journey off the beaten path. Our adventure took us to an unexpected corner of Osaka, where we stumbled upon a remarkable group of young men. These innovators had given up everything to pursue their passion: crafting the ultimate yo-yo and creating the ideal place to play with it. Located in Nankai Under Tracks and tucked away with no neighbors to worry about noise, it is a hidden gem featuring a bar and a stage, all set amidst vibrant graffiti art that brings the space to life.

But most importantly was the energy. They had the energy of people doing what they love and loving what they do. It's contagious.

Now to learn how to yo-yo.
