POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last week was a short work week but, for me the weekend couldn’t come soon enough. Lately, my working conditions have been off putting the ac running on full blast with black debris spitting out of my vents (that’s an issue of over 4 years) and I’m at a crossroads of my next steps. I know by seeking God I will get my answer but, sometimes the faith walk of uncertainty is scary. I definitely needed a day out to treat myself so that’s what I did this weekend. Brunch at Rex’s was amazing: pancake, eggs, bacon with a Tee Time & Lavender Marriage for cocktails. Then I went into one of my favorite stores to get a decor accent for Halloween! ☺️ The plan was to go by an animal shelter to pet the kittens & pups (I just miss our tabby, Douglas that we lost over a year ago) but I ran out of time. Then I needed a few essentials from the store before making it home. What did your weekend look like?

I'm talking river patios at golden hour, indie shops you'll want to live inside, and bites that make you wonder why you ever left. This city has been quietly building something special and if you know, you know.

I put together my personal summer field guide: the spots I actually go to, the places I keep recommending, and the hidden gems that make Central Arkansas feel like home.

Because the best thing about loving where you live? Sharing it.

Save this for your next free afternoon. Send it to a friend who just moved here. Or slide into my DMs and tell me what I missed — I love a good local tip.
