Meet Monica. 🖤 You can find her teaching Hot Vinyasa at Namaste, with even more to come when we make the move into our new space. For Monica, movement is a form of medicine, and yoga offers something restorative for every body, whether you’re moving through an invigorating vinyasa or settling into a slow, sustained practice. What she hopes to create in class is space to reconnect with yourself and leave with a renewed sense of presence. A little more grounded. A little more here. Her favorite pose is pigeon. In fact, if she could fall asleep in it, she probably would. 😂 And when she’s not at the studio, you might find Monica wandering through an antique store for two hours without realizing it. See a “pop-up thrift market” sign? She’s going. No questions asked. We’re so happy you’re a part of Namaste, Monica. ✨

At St. Louis Dance Theatre, a look behind the curtain. Watching a rehearsal is a reminder that what looks effortless onstage is built through repetition, adjustment, trust, and a lot of work. Always good spending time with this company. #stlarts #stldance #stlouisdancetheatre #contemporarydance #behindthecurtain

Today’s the day! “The Walleye Project” live ambient improv album is available for your listening pleasure✨ It was such a joy to be part of this unique event, full of creative excitement and uncertainty! The album serves as a documentation of this moment in time. Not only do listeners hear improvisational music performed on the spot, one can also hear the ebb and flow of audience members in conversation and deep captivation, as well as the shuffling, flowy movements of the dancers Very happy for you to hear the spontaneous creativity at play, and I hope we can all be immersed in similarly entrancing experiences in the future! The biggest thank yous to everyone involved!
