I am truly beyond blessed and incredibly grateful for all the love and support that has surrounded me and my baby girl. 🥹💕

To my family, church family, friends, and everyone who has prayed for us, checked on us, showed up for us, gave, helped, or simply shared their love, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Seeing how many people have come together to make sure this baby has everything she needs has been such a beautiful reminder of just how loved she already is. She may not be here yet, but she already has an entire village waiting to love, support, and protect her.

Thank you to everyone who helped make her baby shower so special and everyone who has played a part in preparing for her arrival. Every gift, every prayer, every kind word, and every act of love means more to me than I can put into words.

My heart is so full. God has truly blessed us beyond measure, and I cannot wait for everyone to meet this precious little girl.

Incredible weekend with a platform performance that felt like a routine. Celebrating my own personal milestone of almost 1 full year of competing in the sport. Prep went so smooth and even the weeks leading up to the event my coach @hannah_fit_lift and I were talking about how crazy it was that it felt like we were leading up to something that felt like any other day. Get in, get it done, get out. Constantly reminded I do these things because lifting is simply fun, I love the community built around the activity and getting everyone together for these is an amazing feeling of camaraderie and accomplishment. Thank you to @wadestrengthsystems for putting on this event and providing us the opportunities to step on the platform. And a huuuuge thank you to @austin.van_gelder for handling me! Excellent calls on attempts by someone who sees me train on the daily, wouldn’t have picked anyone else!
9/9 Lifts, 27/27 white lights

Bench 3rd attempt - 142.5kg (+12.5kg comp PR)

🔥Heel Elevated Hip Thrusts🫠

Big thank you to @bee_tha_bodybuilder for enlightening me

Here are my form tips:
🔥 don’t have elevation too close to you (will feel quads)
🔥 tuck your pelvis so your glutes do the work not your low back
🔥 find a box / bench that fits your height (too tall = less hinge)
🔥 hinge deeper than you think you need to

Go slow, feel the burn, thank us later🍑

Actually grow your glutes; sign up for my 3 month Glute Growth Program to be pushed, challenged, and actually grow your glutes. Link in bio

Meet number 4 down and it was an interesting one!

This was probably one of the worst ways a meet could’ve gone for me after such a good prep, but I think there’s a ton of factors at play and there were lots of things learned in the process. Regardless of how I did, I had an amazing time because my lady @kay.bee.08 absolutely crushed it and I couldn’t be more proud ❤️

Positive takeaways for me:

1. I have amazing people around me and regardless of the day went, their support meant the world.

2. Opening at 474 on squat, 319 on bench and 540 on deadlift initially felt pretty aggressive, but they all moved so well that I know for sure I’m entering a new strength territory.

3. My second attempt at 562 on deadlift also moved extremely well, despite draining a ton of energy on my third squat attempt, which tells me 600 is absolutely coming soon.

Huge shoutout to @philtoon_ for helping me dial in my nutrition and training. We hit a great peak and I couldn’t be happier with the progress thus far.

S: 501 (-6lbs platform PR)
B: 319 (-6lbs platform PR)
D: 562 (Matched platform PR)
T: 1382 (-12lbs platform PR)

Now it’s time to refocus, rebuild, and in honor of my late friend @beforethedawnstrength, do it for the realm ⚔️⚔️⚔️
