On “Wunderkind,” DP Lexa Krebs used the ARRI Alexa Mini and Master Primes to capture the nostalgia of summertime and sisterhood: ㅤ “This film is patient and meditative, where the summer heat is palpable and time passes like molasses – the soft bokeh and subtle warmth of the Master Primes spoke to these tonal qualities, and the standardized T1.3 gifted us during nighttime exteriors. We needed a versatile camera and unobtrusive lenses so that the story could remain anchored and unembellished.” ㅤ The film premiers at the SoHo International Film Festival on October 10th. It follows half-sisters who spend a weekend together in rural Massachusetts, exploring the tension between the creative child versus the contemplative young adult. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt the growing pains of returning home when everything still feels like a work in progress. ㅤ Camera equipment provided by ARRI Rental New York. ㅤ Crew: Dir: @sarahhaallen & @chusseyyy DP: @mozzarellx 1st AC: @melon.saint 2nd AC: @scott_varn Gaffer: @thedemingway KG: @cole.tra ㅤ Writers: @sarahhaallen & @kyra.mcconnell Prod: @chusseyyy Color: @marcyrobinson_colorist @niceshoesonline AD: @trishapickelhaupt Edit: @lydia_leiber Prod Company: Yo Girl Productions AP: @nevjnkf LP: @camille.y.r EP: @harbor_media_ & Katie Mcbrine ㅤ Starring: Bianca Brandolini, @kyra.mcconnell l0v3d1dtht @hingham_pottery Sam McBrine, Edwin Lord ㅤ PD: @samanthafinnerty Script Sup: @palmerwells Sound: @remingtonstrecker Sound Design: Jon Michaels Composer: @jakewestonmusic Graphic Design: @nelson.malushizky End Credits: Kate Wilks Polevoy Audiobook Narrator: @uncarbonated.water ㅤ Minor Talent Guardian: @kowlooncitywalled PAs: @maker.hardware @catherinebennis @tagatreee @andrewr.adams @abby_bien G+E: @pigeonplate @lightbulb_rentals ㅤ Special thanks to Andrea Leonard, Becky Hewitt, and Iris Vega. ㅤ

SMOOTH SAILING @roseprrr | 250D & 500T 16mm Smooth Sailing is about someone leaving a relationship and ultimately being better off solo. When someone jumps ship and you eventually find joy in being alone. When we began concepting the music video, an ode to Charlie Chaplin and the 60’s style of filmmaking felt like the perfect match to the whimsical energy and rhyme of the song. We wanted to find a unique and lighthearted way to depict a relationship in which two people are never quite on the same page—and once she’s alone, the world comes back into color. We couldn’t be more grateful to this incredibly talented team of people who came together and made all of this happen. - Dir. Anna Cappello Song and Performance. Rose Paradise @roseprrr Starring.
