A night I’ll hold close to my heart. ✨
Winning the Best Education Content Creator Award feels incredibly special not just as a recognition of the work I create, but as a reminder of why I started sharing in the first place: to make parenting and education a little more meaningful, informed and connected. ❤️

But the most beautiful part of the evening was the people. A room full of incredible moms, friendships, conversations, laughter and women cheering each other on. There’s something so powerful about moms coming together not to compete, but to support, celebrate and lift each other up. 🤍

Best Home Decor Mom Influencer
at the MomJunction M-Pact Awards, Bengaluru. 🥹✨

Some moments make you pause and look back.

It took a long time to get here....
And maybe that’s what makes this moment even more special.

I’ve been creating content for a long time.
Styling my home. Making things with my hands.
Sharing little pieces of what I love.
But growth?
That came very, very slowly.

There were so many times when I wondered…
Is anyone even seeing this?
Am I doing something wrong?
Should I just stop trying?
Because sometimes it felt like my work was getting lost somewhere between creating and being seen.

The algorithm didn’t always favour me.
The numbers didn’t always reflect the time, thought and effort behind my work.
But I kept showing up.
Creating.
Learning.
Trying again.
Even when the growth was barely moving.

And somewhere along the way, I stopped creating only for the numbers.
I started creating because I genuinely love this.
My home.
DIYs.
Decor.
Stories.
And the little joy of making something beautiful.

So this award feels like more than a trophy. It feels like a little reminder that the work, patience and hope were not wasted.

My first award. My first event as a content creator.

And a moment where my work was publicly recognised and appreciated. ✨

I’m sincerely grateful to @MomJunction and the entire MPact Awards team for acknowledging my work and creating a platform that celebrates creators and their impact.

And this isn’t just my win. It’s our win.
For everyone who has trusted my work, supported me, encouraged me, shared my content, or simply stayed around through the slow days — this moment is yours too. 🤍

If I had to choose between winning an award and making an impact, I know what I would choose.

Impact. Every single time.

Because when I was given the opportunity to be both a panelist and a nominee, I had to make a choice. And I chose to step away from the nomination so I could use that space to speak about something that mattered far more to me than a title ever could.

Something that so many mothers experience, especially after childbirth, but so many still struggle to talk about openly.

And standing there, having that conversation, I realised something.

Sometimes the biggest recognition isn’t the award you take home. It’s the conversation you were brave enough to start.

I wasn’t standing there just as Kritika.

I was standing there for the mother who felt alone.

For the mother who thought, “Is it just me?”

For the mother who never found the words.

For the mother who needed someone to say, “I understand. I’ve been there too.”

And if this platform has taught me anything, it’s that impact doesn’t always look dramatic. ->

Sometimes it’s a mom sharing a school recommendation.

Sometimes it’s sending another mom a contact that changes everything.

Sometimes it’s sharing a job opportunity.

Sometimes it’s checking in on someone who has gone quiet.

Sometimes it’s simply saying, “Don’t worry. You’re not alone.”

That is the kind of impact I want this community to create.

Because an award can have your name on it.

But impact belongs to everyone you touched along the way.

And I also want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to MPact and MomJunction for creating a platform that recognises mothers at this scale.

To celebrate mothers not just for what they do inside their homes, but for the communities they build, the conversations they start, the work they do and the lives they touch.

To create a space where a mother’s contribution is seen, heard and celebrated is an impact in itself.

So thank you for putting mothers at the centre of a platform like this and for reminding us that the work we do every day, often quietly and without recognition, matters.

And today, this isn’t about what I won or didn’t win.

It’s about every mother who has ever helped
