Sunday Sexy Miles with lots of Smiles ..

Got told by the @fitness_queenab your pacing me on Sunday @southendhalf which was my first time running in this race @the_adventuresofdrepic .

She has done this race a few times in the past but wanted to crack her pb which we missed by one second ,mainly due to the congestion at the begininng as you can see , we probably list a couple of minutes trying to get into our running rhythm ..

But the race was a fantasic course along the Southend coast ,with lots of support and great weather .

Some of the Kimfamily @transformational_runner @geoffdickson19 @mparker1890 were also in attendance .

This race was organised by Havens Hospice and has been sold out for the last couple of years ..

Regardless of the fact we didnt get @fitness_queenab her pb it was a thouroughly enjoyable run as couples that run together laugh and mile and smile together .

Heres the positives taken ;

Only One Second off the pb and we now know there is much more in the tank.

399 out of 2694 Overall

40 out of 954 Women that took part

5th out of 198 in the V45 catergory

All of this on day 530 of continuous running for @fitness_queenab
And @the_adventuresofdrepic whom is also on Day 165 of 10km minimum everyday ..

God has blessed us with more greatness to come so watch this space 😀

Tonight we gave his flowers on his birthday another year around the Sun .
It was also an opportunity for the Kim Family to sit down and catch up with each other because we are usually Keeping It Movin 💯...

A brilliant day doing the 2026 Brighton marathon (Mara #232). Got off to a decent start and managed to maintain a pretty decent pace too even up the hills. Couldn’t get strava to lock on to the gps at the start as the network was jammed so relied on the official chip timing. Hills weren’t actually that bad but the headwind coming back into Brighton for the second half was pretty strong and the camber in places did slow me down a little bit. Still did better than I thought and bagged a course best of 3hours and 24mins. Really made up with that. Somehow got first placed wheelchair too.

My mates @poppymayfitness and Ben @wheelieking2026 absolutely smashed it out there too both bagging new PB’s and it was great to be repping the KIM @keep.it.movin.k.i.m.tv fam in Brighton alongside @the_adventuresofdrepic, @ryanrussell79, @fitness_queenab, @bobby1cd, Raj 2.0 @k_super1, Navy Seal, @mhvantini1, @mparker1890 @_tommydodds_ , @hdodds01, @hya1968 and @mr_irons_.
Was great to see some familiar faces and old friends both running and marshalling/volunteering too. Waited at the finish for a bit before heading to the spoons before the journey home. A fitting end to a great mornings marathon.
