💥Started @nbcsnl Season 52 off with a BANG💥 Choreographing TWO film unit projects…simultaneously! A rare feat even for me…lol Getting back in the creative sandbox with the genius teams is the stuff of dreams. Hats off to brilliant folks @emilygenender @averymeade @izz5 and all the extraordinary people that make the impossible possible! My dancers were all incredible and I am always in awe of the talent that I get to create with! Thank you for saying yes through long and exhausting days— at least we do laugh a lot! 💫Could not have done it without the incredible talents of Associate Choreographer @ginadepool - as I ran back and forth between the two studios! Super slayage! 💫 Special shout out to @jalenbrunson1 @jazzy__jelly and @janewickline @veronika_iscool @gracereiter1 @katseyeworld for being SO game to play, and to learn my choreo so quickly and then fully slaying! 🔥Loved the collab with @9rant9ilmore 🔥 HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: ⭐️Director @chriswerner Writers: @allieglev @jimmyfowlie @dammitcarl Dancers: @mpesko @mikesanto @laalexander_ @aaron_patterson11 @tyzydel @aidenpressel @lilyemersonlevine @kaijmari @whoiszionn_ @xnickkim DREAM ACADEMY: ⭐️Director @mikediva Dancers: @jesssicawhite @bri.kimm @michaela_marfori @mckenzielandis_ @dabria.aguilar #dance #funny #snl #film #shannonlewischoreography

There’s nothing quite like the energy @logan_epstein brings to theater jazz ♥️ With a style that feels both timeless and completely her own, Logan creates choreography that reminds you just how FUN it is to perform. Her years spent working alongside some of the industry’s leading choreographers have given her an eye for the details that can completely transform a piece of choreography, and she brings that knowledge into the studio with so much care and excitement for the dancers in front of her. Logan knows how to challenge a room while still leaving plenty of space to let loose, take risks, and enjoy every second of the movement ✨ Her passion for storytelling and genuine love for dance are at the heart of everything she shares, making every class feel like a chance to explore, perform, and remember how much FUN it is to dance! We are so excited for another night of dancing with @logan_epstein in the Steps Spotlight NEXT SATURDAY! ⭐️ 🔷SPOTLIGHT CLASS🔷 Saturday, August 29th Int/Adv Theater Jazz 5:30-7:30PM EST *In Studio & Virtual Options Offered! 🧠: @logan_epstein 🎥: @samlobelvideography 🌍: @stepsonbroadway 👯‍♀️: @karmenmoore @mpesko @_alexispayton_ #stepsonbroadway #steps #dance #dancer #nyc

In a world of Encores doing more well-known shows (i.e., Once Upon A Mattress and Into the Woods), I long for the quieter shows of yesteryear! Shows like High Spirits is such a welcome addition to any season! Show: High Spirits Songs: “Was She Prettier Than I?” & “I Know Your Heart” & “The Bicycle Song” & “Where Is The Girl I Married?” & “You’d Better Love Me” High Spirits is a musical with a book, lyrics, and music by Hugh Martin and Timothy Gray, based on the play Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward, about a man coping with the ghost of his dead wife. Martin and Gray adhered closely to Coward's original text, while expanding the medium's character to the star role, initially calling the show Faster Than Sound. The playwright was delighted with their adaptation and agreed to direct it himself. The musical opened on Broadway at the Alvin Theatre on April 7, 1964, and closed on February 27, 1965, after 14 previews and 375 regular performances. Gower Champion aided Coward in directing the musical New York City Center presented a concert staging of High Spirits for its Encores! series in February 2026, starring Tony winner Katrina Lenk (Company, The Band's Visit) as Elvira, real-life husband-and-wife Phillipa Soo (Hamilton) and Steven Pasquale (The Bridges of Madison County) as Ruth and Charles Condomine, Tony winner Andrea Martin (McNeal) as Madame Arcati, Rachel Dratch (POTUS, SNL) as Edith, Campbell Scott (House of Cards) as Dr. Bradman, and Jennifer Sánchez (Real Women Have Curves) as Mrs. Bradman. Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo) directed and Ellenore Scott choreographed, with musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell leading The Encores! Orchestra. The ensemble included Brandon Block, Delphi Borich, Marcus Byers Jr., DeMarius R. Copes, Deanna Cudjoe, Lili Froehelich, Katie Griffith, Benjamin Howes, Caroline Kane, Ross Lekites, Devon McCleskey, Michael Pesko, Jeremiah Valentino Porter, Sean Stack, Halli Toland, Kamille Upshaw, and Kristin Yancy. Enjoy! What are your favorite Broadway memories of High Spirits?! #highspirits #highspiritsbroadwaymemories #newyorkcitycenterencores #blithespirit #broadwaymemories
