I've been obsessed with film posters since childhood. I'd literally stare at the posters displayed in cinemas when everyone else was on line getting popcorn & sweets. Here is a partial library of posters from some of my roles in film, television, and in video games. As you'll see, video game posters are pretty impressive.

Resident Evil (2022)
Season 1
Genre : Horror, Action
Rating : 8/10

After a virus causes a global pandemic, Jade Wesker tries to survive in a world overrun by infected creatures while grappling with her father’s secrets and her sister's disappearance.

Well, growing up I played the Resident Evil games a lot and I loved them, they were such a huge part of my childhood. I've watched all of its adaptions and it's one of my guilty pleasures. I really liked the series despite what most people said about it. I'm always going to want a movie/series where Leon is actually the main character but this one was pretty good too. It picks up right after the last movie, establishing Wesker as the main character and he has always been a villainous character, Lance Reddick did such an amazing job. The rest of the characters were okay too, the villains are always cooler than the good guys and Resident Evil always has the best villains. Also, the fact that they had a zombie crocodile (who was one of the boss-level villains in the games) blew my mind, even though it was introduced at the very end and killed off way too soon. Overall, it's an entertaining series and I liked it.

Enjoy guys and let me know what you think ❤️

I'm very shocked & saddened to learn of Tanya Kersey's passing. Tanya was a wonderful soul, a really generous friend, & a great advocate for films at the grass roots level. She was literally a trampoline for South African voices. For Black voices. For Black films. For voices that hadn't been heard. Voices taken for granted. She was a huge advocate for our film COLORS OF HEAVEN aka A MILLION COLOURS.
*****
We became the first foreign film to ever open HBFF. Before we played Montreal, Pan African and many more. Before our two year Netflix deal. Before our SAFTA awards. Before film critics give us a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was HBFF. It was Tanya!!!
*****
She helped breathe life into our film's journey. If there was ever an event or screening that was African Diaspora centric, Tanya was there. When the South African consulate of Los Angeles hosted events you could bank on her being there, we often sat together and talked South African films for hours. And every single time, she'd bring up COLORS OF HEAVEN aka A MILLION COLOURS. She was at all the events at the South African consulate's home. She loved and was passionate about South Africa.
*****
She was also a prayer warrior that loved the Lord. See you on the other side my sister, you will be greatly missed.

Tanya faced many health issues, starting at 12 when she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Years later, Tanya also fought through kidney failure and Graves’ disease with her daughters by her side. She was a true fighter, yet Tanya was uninsurable and did not have life insurance due to her conditions. Her health declined progressively towards the end of her life, and her daughters and sister supported her financially to keep up the costs. I want them to be able to celebrate her life and send her off in the most beautiful way without the financial burden. They are trying to grieve their mother and sister. Any donations will help and are appreciated.
