Fall Retreat 2026, AKA my first retreat is in the books! What an enlightening and blessed experience it was to be with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Truly, this weekend was one I won’t ever forget! Love y’all! 🙏

August was different. After taking on so much in July, this month gave me a little more room to breathe. My schedule was a lot calmer, but that didn’t necessarily mean things became easier.

I’ve still been navigating classes, friendships, possible relationships, and, perhaps more than anything, what it truly means to be a Christian and what I want my faith to look like in my own life. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking, questioning, and trying to understand where I’m going while learning to be comfortable not having all the answers.

At the same time, August gave me plenty to be grateful for. I got to spend time with my family, make memories with friends, and have moments where I could genuinely be happy and enjoy life. There were also difficult moments, including losing pets and dealing with the stress and overthinking that I seem to carry with me more often than I’d like. But I’m learning that the happy moments don’t have to erase the sad ones, and the hard moments don’t erase the good ones either.

August was a lot better to me than July, but that doesn’t mean it was easy. If anything, it reminded me that progress doesn’t always mean everything suddenly feels okay. Sometimes it just means you’re learning how to handle things a little differently.

So here’s to kicking off the end of summer — appreciating the people and moments I have, continuing to grow in my faith, and persevering through whatever comes next.

And instead of following the trend and putting Noah Kahan’s “End of August” on here… I’m going with an artist who’s been growing on me quite a bit lately. 🤘🖤
