So great to have our friends Michael and Diane Koontz here and for everyone to get to catch up. Over 75 years of friendship between them.
Alé made tamales and her torta basca so no one left hungry.

HUGS is proud to partner with the Public Education Foundation of Marion County to provide TWO Take Stock in Children scholarships to two very deserving high school students who are being directly impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Just one of the many ways our donors’ dollars stay local and make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

I am very thankful for My friendships and value them greatly. Tonight I got to see what 7 decades of friendship looks like and was honored to get to sit and chat with Michael and Diane (whom I’ve known since I was a tiny child) and Mom.
So many memories with them as well as their children: John, Wade and Mak playing at Little Lake Weir as kids.
Great friends equal family.
Thank you so much for coming up to visit us!

A quick morning meet-up @koontzcompany resulted in a generous check from the Ladies Auxiliary at AMVETS 444.

A heartfelt thank you to Christy for choosing @hugscharities as the recipient. Your support means the world to us!

Our Day of Giving has arrived! We need your help to spread the word for HUGS. Matching times are noon and 6pm today. If you are able to donate at one (or both) of those times, your donation can be matched by a Give4Marion sponsor. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing our message with your friends! We appreciate our HUGS community and all you do.
