Aloha Erica Music is now Aloha Musicians. ⁣ I played my first wedding in college because a friend asked. I said yes, not thinking much of it beyond that one afternoon. Then another friend asked. Then another.

More than twenty weddings later, all word of mouth, no website, no business card, just one wedding leading to the next, guests started finding me afterward asking how to book me for their own day.

I didn’t have anything to hand them. That gap, more than any five year plan, is what pushed me to make it official. Aloha Erica Music launched in December 2020. ⁣ For a while, it was just me and a guitar. Then couples started asking for things I couldn’t give them on my own, a violinist for the ceremony, a harpist for cocktail hour, a full string quartet to fill a ballroom during the reception.

I could have said that wasn’t what I offered. Instead we built the team to say yes. ⁣ Aloha Musicians is now a full collective across guitar, vocals, piano, violin, viola, cello, harp, saxophone, flute, and ukulele, built solo through quartet, matched to the exact vision a celebration calls for.

Every musician on the roster is chosen the same way I once held myself to, evaluated on hospitality and professionalism as closely as musical skill, because a beautiful performance that shows up late or ignores the timeline isn’t actually a beautiful performance. ⁣ What hasn’t changed is the part that matters most. We still read the room instead of running a script, adjusting a processional until the entire bridal party clears the aisle, holding a moment a little longer when guests aren’t ready for it to end.

The couple is always the story. The music is the soundtrack underneath it. ⁣ New name, same heart behind it.

My website got an update!🩷

If you saw on Monday I got a rebrand!! The amazing Carina @mps.designstudio worked absolute magic on my rebrand and updating my website! And i’m so beyond excited to share it!

Couldn’t be more excited for @erinofboston and her website debut! She told us that when she saw our ‘Charlie Dawn’ template, it was love at first site (get it?), and that she wanted her branding to be inspired and centered around our original design 🥹 Well, you nailed it, Erin!
