One of the most beautiful stories from AB de Villiers’ autobiography comes from the unforgettable 2016 IPL season.

Virat Kohli was at the peak of his powers, producing one of the greatest individual seasons in IPL history with 973 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, AB de Villiers, then 32, had begun reflecting on how much longer he would continue playing cricket.
