A parent’s job is to help put their child in the best position to succeed.

Today, Nick Payne Jr. officially begins a new chapter as he transfers to Kenosha Bradford High School.

Nick has accomplished a lot already. He’s a 5x AAU All-American sprinter, the Racine Case 60m school record holder, Wisconsin’s #1 ranked WR and #1 overall athlete in the Class of 2029, a Navy All-American Top Performer, and an Under Armour Camp Invitee. He’s also been blessed to earn Division I offers from Wisconsin, Iowa State, and Western Michigan, while receiving interest from Ohio State, LSU, Indiana, Iowa, and many other programs.

This decision wasn’t about taking the easy road—it was about finding the best opportunity for his growth as both a student-athlete and a young man.

In Nick’s words:

“I wanted to be in a position where I have the opportunity to contribute on both sides of the ball and continue developing my complete game. I believe Coach Steve Morris and Coach Troy Collier can help bring out the best in me, and I’m excited to get to work.”

As his father, I’m proud of the young man he’s becoming. Thank you to everyone at Racine Case who has been part of his journey. We’re grateful for the relationships and memories we’ve built.

Now it’s time for the next chapter.

The work doesn’t change. The goals don’t change. Only the jersey does.
