I had a blast getting to perform at the U.S. Army Tuba Euphonium Workshop! My tuba quartet was invited to come all the way from Korea. We played a fun program which included my arrangement of Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz No. 4. I also got to perform with my friends from ASU as well as the Armed Forces Tuba Euphonium Ensemble. It was a fun week of performing and listening to world class musicians. It was also a great chance to be a tourist and reconnect with some of my favorite people. I’m very grateful for this opportunity and I’m looking forward to getting back to work after a long flight. 🇺🇸✈️

Finally getting around to posting about this. I was sent back to AIT for 3 months to reclass as an Army Musician. It definitely pushed me, and gave me opportunities to grow and make friends to last a lifetime. I can’t say I’ve ever practiced that much every single day. 4am wake ups everyday. Also, got promoted the week before arriving. So it’s been a lot to take in, I’ve been performing as an Army Musician most of my military career….but now….its official. So yea……I sing for the Army…..yep….that’s my job 🎶 42R. #army #band #armyband #42r #composer #artist #perform #sing #vocalist @usarmysom @300tharmyband @usarmy @armyfresh

(Post 3/3) The final days of AIT. I made some great friends while there, and played with some incredible musicians (yes, that includes you, SGT Brixey). I will never forget any of you. Thank you to all the people that made it possible, including the Drill Sergeant team, and the amazing instructors at the USASOM. I hope I’ll be able to work with some of you again in the future. And of course, thank you to all of the teachers in my life who helped me learn, and allowed for my love of music to grow: @christine.wolf @follett.jim @tony_thackeray @danjonasmusic @bandman63
Oh, and my parents, who are pretty are the whole reason I am where I am today. I love you guys.
