I’ve travelled to a few countries on my own, and over time I’ve learned to be comfortable being alone on this journey.
But these past couple of weeks have been some of the most enjoyable, freeing, and liberating weeks I’ve ever experienced in my life.
I’ve felt a sense of warmth here that I honestly wasn’t expecting. I’ve met people who welcomed me without knowing my story, without knowing where I came from, and without asking me to be anything other than myself.

My time at Bali MMA has been nothing short of amazing. Walking into a gym so far away from home and being welcomed into the team, being able to train with incredible people, and having the work I’ve put in over the years recognised... this means a lot to me.
I came here not really knowing what to expect, and I’m leaving with memories and friendships that I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
What’s made this place so special is that I’ve never felt like I had to force anything.
I could just be me.

And somehow, people saw more in me than I’ve sometimes been able to see in myself.
I feel incredibly blessed that I get to live a life where I can travel across the world, chase my dreams, train in beautiful places, and meet people who leave an impact on me.
Thank you to every single person I’ve met on this incredible journey. Thank you for the laughs, the training, the conversations, the friendships, and for making me feel at home when I’m so far away from home.
I’m so grateful for this life I have, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to experience moments like this.

Bali, you’ve given me memories I’ll never forget.
I’ll be back.
And until then, I’ll be forever grateful for this chapter of my journey.
Grateful for the people.
Grateful for the lessons.
Grateful for the memories.
Grateful every day. ❤️🇮🇩
