I am so incredibly proud of my husband. 🤍 Every day, Matt is trying so hard to get better. He wants to move more, do more, get stronger, get back to work, get back to coaching, and get back to being the man who is always on the go. But I truly believe God is reminding him that healing doesn’t have to be rushed. Sometimes God makes us be still when we would rather keep moving. Sometimes He slows us down because our bodies need time that our minds don’t necessarily want to give them. Matt has always been the person who pushes through. But right now, his job is different. His job is to heal. 🙏🏼 Slow and steady. One day at a time. One step at a time. One victory at a time. And I see those victories—even the small ones. I see how hard he is trying. I see the frustration when his body won’t cooperate as quickly as he wants it to. And I see his determination to keep going. God protected him through something that could have had a very different outcome, and I believe with my whole heart that God is still writing this story. So we’re not rushing the process. We’re trusting it. “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 🙏🏼 I’m proud of you, Matt. More than you know. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and let God handle the timeline. Slow & steady.
