Labor Day miles across the GWB. Beautiful weather, even better views, and a crew that made every mile worth it.

Now, the important question: Which ’80s outfit fits me best?

Great night celebrating @pudles birthday with some karaoke. Not drums but I’d argue it’s even better content

Spent nearly 12 hours on my feet at HYROX and somehow left with more energy than when I arrived.

Maybe it was the adrenaline. Maybe it was nostalgia. Maybe it was watching hundreds of people do hard things on purpose.

My role was simple: help direct athletes into wall ball stations.

But the coach in me couldn’t help herself.

“You think you can get the next 10 without breaking?”

“You didn’t come this far just to come this far.”

By the end of the day, my voice was completely shot. Worth it.

Standing at the final station, I got to witness something special. Athletes emptying the tank. Friends screaming until they were hoarse. Strangers becoming teammates for a few seconds. People finding another gear when they thought they had nothing left.

And that hit a nerve in the best way.

For a long time, I knew what it felt like to chase big goals without much cheering from the sidelines. So I found myself gravitating toward the athletes who didn’t have a crowd behind them. The ones grinding quietly. Because sometimes the right words from a stranger can carry you farther than you think.

Walking through the Javits Center felt like stepping back into my AAU basketball days - athletes stretching on the floor, rolling out to get warm, getting their lanyards, carrying that mix of nerves and excitement before competition.

I hadn’t felt that atmosphere in a long time.

And if I’m being honest, it woke something up in me.

Being surrounded by so many athletes reminded me how much I miss training toward something bigger than the day-to-day. Watching everyone compete lit a fire I forgot was still burning.

So while I showed up as a volunteer, I left inspired.

HYROX... I’ll see you soon.

Just let me get this hamstring sorted first.

Then it’s ova 😤

Happy birthday @kattycaballero ♥️

It’s amazing what you can build with a room full of people who just want to sweat, get better, and move to the music. And when that same room is filled with love and support too… something magical happens 💚
Til next time, Crew.
