POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night was a reminder of how important it is for men to have spaces where we can breathe, listen, talk and heal.

Much respect to @supanovaslom & @queenafua for Man, Heal Thyself and for continuing to put conversations about healing into the world. Host for the night @mr.h.walcott

Appreciation to @malikbooks for creating the space, @marcuscargillthepeacecoach for helping us slow down and breathe, and my mentor @bodymechanicnyc for continuing to pour into the work of healing and wellness.

As I prepare to release my own story, I’m grateful to be in rooms where I can listen, learn and be present.

We need more rooms like this. 🙏🏾

Keep writing your story.

Men carry a lot—family, work, relationships, expectations, responsibilities and the pressure to always appear strong. But where do men go to breathe, release, reflect and recharge?
MAN, HEAL THYSELF creates that space.
Inspired by SupaNova Slom’s Man, Heal Thyself: The Wellness Warrior’s Guide to Self-Mastery in 12 Weeks and Beyond, this special Literary Circle experience goes beyond the traditional author talk.
Come disconnect from the noise and pour something back into YOU.
The evening brings together conversation, mindfulness, movement and healing practices designed to explore what wellness, strength and self-mastery can look like for men today.
Featuring:
SupaNova Slom — Author of Man, Heal Thyself
Halleluyah Walcott — Moderator
Marcus “Peace Coach” Cargill — Fitness Peace Coach
Guests will experience guided breathwork, a healing sound bath, meditation, an author conversation, audience engagement, and a book signing and meet-and-greet with SupaNova Slom.
Fresh coconut water will also be available for $5.
MEN CENTERED. WOMEN WELCOMED.
While this experience intentionally centers men’s healing, mental wellness, strength and restoration, women are absolutely welcome and encouraged to attend.

God gave me everything back.

Not because I deserved it.

Because I was willing to be broken, humbled, rebuilt, and transformed.

Five years ago, I blew my life up.

What followed was one of the hardest seasons I have ever walked through.

Loss.
Consequences.
Shame.
Growth.

Rebirth.

And now?

I look around and see the evidence of grace.

My family is together.
My husband is home.
My children are thriving.

We have two homes.
Two cars.
A vision bigger than ever before.

But more importantly...

I have peace.

The kind of peace that doesn't come from money, relationships, or success.

The kind that comes from finally surrendering.

God is leading.

And for the first time in my life, I am following with my whole heart.

No forcing.
No controlling.
No running ahead.

Just trust.

This is a new era for me.

A softer one.
A deeper one.
A more obedient one.

And if my life is a testimony of anything, let it be this:

God is always moving.

What feels lost is not always gone.

Sometimes it is simply being rebuilt.

Stay tuned.

The story keeps getting better.

Follow my stories for the behind the scenes.

LIFE AND DEATH ALSO RESIDES IN WHAT WE DECIDE TO PUT IN OUR BODIES.

Let's get real, we are easier to control when we are out of control with what we put in our bodies.

It is easier to be sluggish, undisciplined and confused when our diet isn't nourishing us.

What we decide to nourish our bodies with has great implications.

What we eat directly affects how well our bodies and minds function.

What we eat directly affects how we think.

Wheat we eat directly affects our moods.

What we eat directly affects how we age.

What we eat directly affects what we ATTRACT.

OKKKUUUURRRRR

Here at Sacred Space Village, we remind ourselves and every guest that NOURISHMENT is a huge part of self care.

One way we nourish ourselves daily here is starting our day off with hydration and the sun.

We drink water straight from our coconuts and then prepare a tea.

We then prepare a fruit bowl with fresh fruits, water and granola.

The sun activates our energy first thing in the day as we watch it rise.

What ways are you NOURISHING yourself when you wake up?

MEDITATION?
PRAYER?
SILENCE?
YOGA?
NOTHING?

Tawk to us in the comments!!!!

AINT NO SHAME IN YOUR TRUTH SIS JUST SHARE IT WITH US BELOW.

REST IS THE REVOLUTION.

We welcome you to slow down here at Sacred Space where midday rests are the NORM.

We’re inviting you to apply for our Sacred Living Immersion — a 7-day opportunity to come live on our land, reconnect with yourself, and return to nature without distraction.

Midday isn’t for rushing here.

It’s for pausing.
Breathing.
Being.
No noise.
No pressure.
No constant doing.

Just a life that supports your body… and your nervous system.

This is for you if:

-You’re tired of always being “on”
-You crave slowness and real presence
-You’re ready to experience life outside the pace you’ve been in

This is NOT for you if:
-You need constant stimulation
-You’re uncomfortable with stillness
-You’re not ready to unplug

I’m opening 6 spaces for this experience.

APPLY USING THE LINK IN BIO.

Come experience what it feels like to truly rest.

There comes a time in every parent’s journey when you have to give your kids the Santa talk.

Well, for my son… we have to have the “Christmas already passed” talk every week.

It’s February, my guy.

Santa Dada is tiyaddd 😩🎅🏾
